Well, I guess we'll see come February. The kid being dead would be closer to the comic, but the TV show has been willing to go its own way on some things.

So yeah. Hope it is actually alive. The show has had quite enough of misery porn.

Would've been far safer and easier to carry her in the car seat though. And that was a lot of blood.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

How many groups are there now?

    The Bus Gang
    Tyreese and the Kids
    Rick & Son
    Michone on her own
Did Glenn stay on the bus or is he with Maggie and Sis

I think Maggies sister is the psycho killer btw

Oh, Carol running into Tyreese and the girls is a dead cert.

@Tonka Yeah not one episode has advanced the series this year at all. Then they seem to forget that the Guv'nor was still around and brought him back for last mid season eps. I still enjoyed the last episode but the standard of writing in this series is so random and poor that you I just end up frustrated with it.

Rick's son is the psycho IMO.

Hey, I agree. I'm definitely on the "baby is dead" side of things here. I reckon they were just squeamish about actually showing it.

Which does create a bit of confusion/ambiguity. But I guess people need something to stew over for the next couple of months.

I kind of agree with you. It's a strange series, there's arguably no real plot to be advanced, because of the nature of the show. I kind of think of it more like horde mode rather than a single player campaign, as shit as that sounds.

    Get bent.

I really haven't found the writing that bad but then the Dexter final season is still fresh in the mind and would take some beating.

Likening it to hord mode makes sense.

It won't work forever though. They need to start rebuilding ala WWZ (book not film) or else the rinse repeat will bleach all colors out of it.

The only plot is to survive. That is the story. Rebuilding, that's a great ideal, but there are always likely to be people who want to take what you have rebuilt from you.

So 'Brian' is dead this time, right? Because I find it strange that they didn't explicitly showed him with his head blown off, or lying dead on the ground...

Nursing is also sort of difficult if you have shot someone in the face beforehand.

@AcidSnake Well, if it went through clean without touching any major organs... Why woudld she rescue him though? But also, why wouldn't the producers give us the satisfaction of seeing him dead?

But has she? You don't actually see it, you just assume that what happened.

Rick - "We have children, and sick people"
    Guvnor - "I have a tank"

Four words that can win any argument.

Er I think having a sword through the lungs would be tricky to save someone with paramedics nearby, being surrounded by zombies with no kit meant "Brian" was going to drown in his own blood if he wasn't shot in the face or eaten by zombies first.

    This space left intentionally blank.

Look, I really see no reason to think otherwise. His story is finished, he's dead. Bringing him back again would absolutely be taking the piss at this point.

He shouldn't have killed Hershel and he might have saved him, that guy was capable of medical miracles being just a veterinarian.

Am I making things up or wasn't the last Govermator shot a POV of him getting shot in the face?

She should have decided not to shoot him in the end and walked away. A more fitting death.

Who do we think the crazy rat person is ? Someone they haven't cast yet or the alcoholic guy who seems completely pointless. I doubt the young girls would be that sick, Carol just made them defend themselves. Maybe Carl who is spoiling for a fight and dissecting a rat like his mum or something.

I thought it was that young girl who had a pet zombie that put the rat there to feed the zombie. But then when they found the one down in the basement I started thinking it's Beth.

She is very detached and a rather dull character. Needs some spice before the off her.

First off, fantastic mid finale. Worthy to be the season finale. This series has certainly been the best. And back to gut wrenching depressive outcomes (HERSHEL).
As for Judith? I think the producers made a concerted effort to show caring her in the seat was a drag. It needed 2 kids to carry it, with her bouncing around inside of it.

From the children's perspective, made sense to leave the seat behind.

    Plus the fact that
    1. Rebuilding like WWZ is costly for a TV show. Tanks shooting building is about as expensive as it gets.
    2. Rebuilding may make sense, but would be dull to watch, more dull than Sophia gate ala season 2.

Scavenging, exploring and surviving is the theme of the show. The writers and producers just have to be creative enough to keep it fresh.

    I say it's Beth too.
They've only started making Caryl likable. No way they're gonna reverse that. And as you say, she is rather dull.
