The uploader has not made this video available in your country.

It's weird, because they used to allow the videos to be seen in the UK. Now it's only the "Between the scenes" segments available.

Ah, sorry. It runs fine from my country.

    Jest of it is:

A hard-line anti-abortion congressman called Tim Murphy, had a mistress (side-chick). Already you can tell this man is the very epitome of good morals. The mistress then claimed he had gotten her pregnant. The congressman immediately urged her to get an abortion the very next day.

What makes it even funnier is that the mistress wasn't pregnant at all and simply used it as a loyalty test to her. Of course the women scorned immediately goes on twitter to call Tim Murphy a hypocrite.

The congressman makes the excuse that his rhetoric is simply something that others (his staffers) write for him.

Of course Trevor Noah brings the point home by showing clips how passionately and emotionally mr. Murphy argued for stricter abortion laws IN THE SAME WEEK OF ALL THIS HAPPENING. That all life is sacred, that the little clump of cells is already a true person and that Man should take responsibility for life they've helped to created.

Needless to say, the turkey is done in politics. He's dropped his seat in congress, causing Trevor Noah to jape that this means Murphy has aborted his term early.

@Skirlasvoud do as i say not as i do. Pretty standard for a politician. The difference is when they used to get caught out they lost their job and reputation. Not any more. You can collude with Russia and people make excuses for you.

I don't want to say it's pretty guaranteed, but it generally seems likely that the more a politician is against a certain thing i.e prostitution, drugs, abortion homosexuality, paedophilia ; the more likely it is that they do said thing. I've always wondered what that was about.

I think the whole, pro-life thing, is one of the main reasons I bloody detest America as a country. Very backwards thinking.

Yeahhhhh, the whole life is sacred and shit but you're on your own once you're born. It's your fault you were born into a poor family.

So, err, child marriage is perfectly legal in the US?!

This completely shocked me, especially considering how often the US goes to war abroad to apparently 'improve' human rights and what not.

America’s problem, as is usually the case, are the vile fucks called Republicans.

Saying that, defending child molestation simply because the accused is on their team is a steep five to a new low.

True. The only sexual predator you can trust is a Republican.

It's cool though. Like they said, god fucked a child and if it's OK for god, it's OK for Republicans.

I think [far right talk show host] Rush Limbaugh voiced the mindset nicely:

You know what the magic word, the only thing that matters in American sexual mores today is? One thing. You can do anything, the left will promote and understand and tolerate anything, as long as there is one element. Do you know what it is? Consent. If there is consent on both or all three or all four, however many are involved in the sex act, it's perfectly fine. Whatever it is. But if the left ever senses and smells that there's no consent in part of the equation, then here come the rape police.

So what exactly is he saying there? Consent isn't important or isn't a thing?

I've read it three times and I'm still struggling to find a reason not to email him a reeking turd.

Good lord, it is almost as if liberals generally suggest individual freedoms are to be protected unless they infringe on others, and that discussion is what liberalism is all about.

But consistency is beyond Trump loving Christians, obvs.

According to Wikipedia, Limbaugh dismisses the concept of consent in sexual relations. He views consent as "the magic key to the left."

I suspect it's at least partially coming from a Biblical worldview, his mention of three or four people having sex with each other as a supposed perversion would be in line with that. The Old Testament makes it pretty clear that woman has to serve man. Pleasing his desires is one of her central duties, if she likes it or not is irrelevant (and I believe resisting could have put her life at risk in Biblical times).

So consent wasn't an issue until the liberals and feminazis (Limbaugh himself popularised this term, apparently) criminalised non-consensual sex, while at the same time allowing orgies, which is the real perversion.

    Or something.

I don't think it's the consistency they have a problem with. They just believe it's all rotten to the core. They don't believe in any of that individualist rubbish. They believe that the individual should subordinate to God-given morals, the community, and authority. And they don't want anyone to have more freedom than they allow themselves.

Well with a read for this alone:

I assume this was from the King Trump Version of the Bible, in which “virgin” is just Mary’s nickname.

Just turn it all off. The simulation has clearly failed to model any sort of believable reality.

Yeah that video was cringeworthy, there's a longer one on the Guardian and it beggars belief. It's the equivalent of a kid who didn't do their homework for a book report and is trying to blag what it's about when reporting to class. However the kid sent his dog in his place.

America is by far the most fucked up “developed” country in the world. Nothing should surprise anyone :(
