I'm looking at maybe joining the British Military Fitness in my local park. Just wondering if anyone does this or has done it in the past and has any insights into it? :)

My other half has started doing this and says it's pretty good. She quit her gym membership and now just does this three times a week instead.

One of my friends does it. She loves it, but she's a bit odd in the head.

Interesting, never heard of it, sounds quite cool but I despise running. Don't mind other stuff.

This looks really good. I just wish the nearest session to me wasn't 25-30 miles away!

My mate does this and I did the free trial a couple of months back. If you want to get fit, it's bloody good.

Oh boy oh boy. I rememebr when thare was a site called www.getfitta.co.uk which translates into goats cunt in Swedish. I had lot's of giggles with that site.

Almost as funny as Mrs.Kukmans website or www.kuken.com

If you can read this you really need to fiddle with your forum settings.

I've just done a bit of research into this (when I say research I really mean I just searched Twitter). It all looks quite cool. It might be just the type of thing to motivate myself into getting off my fat ass.

Nearest class is in fact 13 miles away. 30 minute drive isn't too bad. Going to have a good think about it.

Lots of positive thoughts about this then :)

My local class in Leeds is literally 5mins walk from my house so its so convenient. I'm really tempted by it, I don't need to lose any weight but definitely need to be fitter! Hopefully it'll be varied enough to keep me interested.

Might sign up for the free trial with my girlfriend and check it out.

I've researched it some more (this time with Google) and I think I will do this. Spoke to a few of the lads at work and they're all up for it. Should be fun!

Looks good, just what I could do with but none near enough to me. Dammit, just I am beginning to motivate my fat arse into getting some excersise and this would be perfect.

this occurs several times a week in the park near me. I might go and watch them and then steal their ideas...

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

I like how on their site, everything north of London is classed as "northern"

just got back from a free trial at my local one of these and I'm now happilly knackered (and soaked from drizzle and lots of rolling around in wet grass)

I reckon I'll make a go of this as I'm terrible at motivating myself to do cardio and this was a good, fairly strenuous and fun hour that flew by.

I wish I could do this, but the nearest one to me would double the cost in petrol just to drive there, and would add another couple of hours' worth of travelling. :(

I'd love to do it too and there's one within cycling distance but I just can't afford it on top of gym membership. It sounds great though.

They do this in Leeds round the Dock where I live.
I just watch them from my balcony drinking beer and eating pies. Looks like a lot of hard work. But I supose thats the point.

it is hard work, but it's like playing footy, tag or other chilhood playground games in that it's all good fun and it doesn't feel to bad for too long. The pacing was just right that you can always get your breath back after the strenuous bits without it ever being easy.

Just started this after being dragged along and it is good fun and a good work out ... although I think my food bill is going to go up if I feel this hungry after every session.
