Dark Souls is only 14.99 on Games on Demand ...

    ... not bad, me thinks.

Makes me laugh that the newly added Epic Mickey 2 is twice the price of that!

Buying those two for 8.99 each would be a ridiculous bargain - easily two of the best games i've played in recent years.

Getting them free on ps+ over the last few months was a ridiculous bargain ;-)

Bought sleeping dogs last night. Been looking to pick it up cheap since it got good word of mouth from many EG folk and 9 seems a good price.

I'd buy it again if I hadn't just got it free on PS3. Wei better than I thought it would be.

    Looks like it's 8.99.

Thanks guys. Hmm. Had it originally but didn't get into it. Might try again. Same with Dark Souls...

Another newbie question guys - the price of XBLA games display in points, yet the GoD display in . Sleeping Dogs is currently 9.99, so could I pick up 800 points from town and have enough, or does it use the um 'conversion' rate seen on the dash when you go to add points from a credit card?

UK GoD price for 8.99 is likely 1040 points or so rather than 800 points.

Just to confirm sleeping dogs MS points pricing re oceanmotion's comment. It is indeed 1040 points (or at least it was when I purchased it last night)

If you hit X(?) when confirming the payment, there's an option to pay with points instead. That'll show you how much (in points) it is in your region.

Cheers for clearing things up guys... what an idiotic way of doing things.

It's effectively walking into a shop where one shelf of stock is displayed in a different currency!

I see what you did there!

Severely tempted by getting Sleeping Dogs again myself, but I simply cannot justify it with all the other games in my recently-formed sales backlog.

    It is blumming great though.

I went to buy SD this morning but when I clicked through it took me to a US page where it was priced at $19.99. Definitely logged into UK site and the link I clicked on the previous page actually said 8.99. Might try again from the dash tonight, but if they don't want my money...

    @Modishnouns - Yeah it's a bit weirdly directed...

@Blerk You sure about sleeping dogs? I just logged in from work and it's saying $19.99 (in dollars for some reason). Do I have to download it from my xbox directly?
It's defaulted to the US site. Here's a direct link to the UK one.

I bought Batman last week having owned it previously but never completed it. Resumed my progress at 52% and I have no idea how to play it anymore. That's not a game you can just drop in and out of.

Thats the only thing with going back to games after a while. I tried to play far cry after tomb raider and went from a master bowman to a weeny little bullet sponge

Anyone aware of any up and coming sales after the Square Enix one ends?
  • Deleted user 15 March 2013 10:57:34
Hopefully nothing too tempting as I just blew my points on sleeping dogs. Had resisted all week as well...

I live in Egypt, I have a PAL xbox.
I want to download Midnight Club LA GoD from the UK Marketplace.
    Is it IP locked?
    Thanks in advance.

Is that why the 'offer' is an insulting 34.99? To subsidise for another region getting it for sod all?

Hey, thank you! I'll be much more likely to keep playing without the shame of putting the disc in the drive. :) Hopefully will get onto more ship sections.
Probably a dumb question but how would I go about this?

Edit: bearing in mind I don't understand Chinese ha :)
