    Toad in the hole, roast spuds, steamed broccoli, caramelised onion gravy. And some beer. Well to be honest beer has been more of a starter in this case.

    Homemade steak and ale pie with carrot an swede mash, steamed broccoli and Yorkshire puds. Followed by Bramley apple pie and custard. Washed down with Fosters Gold, Merlot and Rose Cava.

    I can't sleep, I was up at the crack of dawn, I'm hungover, and I've already started cooking - That can only mean one thing - IT'S CHRISTMAS!! Happy birthday Jesus!

    So today we will have:

    Champagne & Eggs Benedict for breakfast

    Slow cooked lamb shanks and all the usual trimmings for lunch

    Raspberry pavlova for desert

    And copious amounts of booze throughout the day
