No-one would park her car for her. Shame.

That has to be a joke. Seriously.

Yeah, a middle class troll attempt of the highest order. Using the word poverty in that sense is disgraceful and a massive insult, surely she can't be serious. Don't understand what's wrong with Premier Inn either, stayed at one before and I thought it was fine.

Peasant. Obviously you are fine with parking your own car, but us normal people aren't.

Next you'll be saying you are willing to wipe your own arse.

You really shouldn't like the these types of thing. It will drive people to murder.

It was her, but a different article. That one is also appalling though.

I can't even drive or afford to buy a car! And I do wipe my own arse! Never realised the depth of poverty that I live in before now. What's the point in having somewhere to live, food to eat and games to play if you can't afford to pay somebody to do all the mundane stuff for you so you can have a sense of superiority about yourself? :(

I'm in with you Kosmoz! Meet you at Central Station at 3pm, we can be home for Christmas!

I'll pick up a glass bottle of Irn Bru for a chib. We can get rid of the murder weapon by handing it back in to a shop for the 20p.

The Guardian hits a new low with a review by Caroline Sullivan on a charity concert by The Cure, in which she critices the band and their performance, and then makes the claim that "The band have read her review and agree with it".

This upset Robert Smith and he's written about it on The Cures official facebook page here: www.facebook.com/#!/thecure

The woman is a living, breathing piss-take of a human being. I'll not click a D**** M*** link, but I should think the whining is quite serious.

    A year without sex?

... perhaps I could write the follow up, 'my month without sex'.

    : )

p.s. The Cure 'review' is very silly, mind.

On my crazy scale that's not registering very highly.

Quite high on the boring as fuck scale, though. Guardian is good at that. I let them off a bit cos the rest of the press is generally hellbent on leading us down a rabbit hole, and the Guardian, as bizarre as it can be, is at least pulling us down a different hole that might be a bit nicer.

The Comment is Free section is often a mix of professional trolling and vague thoughts stretched out to fill a thousand words.

I generally feel like the Guardian is a force for good, but I do also have a problem with anyone who makes it their business to hold everyone else to incredibly high standards, whilst not necessarily holding themselves to them.

What a hypocritical nonsense of an article. I don't know where to start with that to be honest. It would be more fitting in the Mail.

I quite like the Guardian, but it is still very selective in its reporting just like any other news source. It just tends to do so from a different side of things to the other big names.

Its CiF section though is full of crazies both above and below the line and should be read for entertainment only.

Yeah, the Guardian tries to live by certain standards, and that tends to make them seem a bit preachy etc. Always pisses people off.

The problem with it is that they employ a broad range of people with very specialist fields of being worthy.

Theres the human rights guy, the racism guy, the feminist woman and various specialisms in media watch-doggery.

All of which, collectively, makes the site very wearing after a while but, as has been said, I would rather have people attempting to change the world for the better rather than rooting around in peter andres bins.

However low The Guardian goes, even at its lowest it is still miles above the retard rag that is the Mail.

Which would be great, but the vast majority of its commentators are very good at describing what is wrong (usually using a couple of thousand words for what could be summed up in a sentence or two) without ever presenting a realistic solution.

I go to the guardian for a lot of news, don't get me wrong I like it, but some of the "Comment is Free" section is just as crazy as the Daily Mail which gets lambasted all the time.

It's practically the only newspaper we have that practices actual journalism. Lord knows it's not perfect by a long shot, but off the top of my head I can think of numerous stories that have led to things like actual government inquiries and proper debate (undercover policing, Stephen Lawrence, newspaper phone hacking, Snowden). Not many other papers in this country can say that in recent times.
