Should we be surprised? Excited is a better word I think. How far off do you reckon it is if he's doing the voice over this morning?

Should be out this Autumn, think I read somewhere. Definitely worth holding onto the PSP for.

Hope this revives LBP on PS3 a bit. Spose it could do if there's a bit of cross pollination.

Quite excited about Motorstorm on PSP too. Looks bloody fantastic.

Slightly off topic, but has anyone tried the Resistance: Retribution & Resistance 2 cross-over content (if you can call it that)? I'm hoping for lots more ps3 & psp goodness this year.

It's a little ironic that he's involved with a PSP game, last year he wrote this article for the Guardian about how much he loves the DS, and how it's more engaging than the PSP.

I've always wanted to play Littlebigplanet but I don't have a PS3, so I'm definitely looking forward to this.

Yeah, so, like I posted this in the actual LBP PSP thread at the time. So, like, you know, old.

Awesome news Patch. I my have poked a bit of light hearted banter towards you in the past about your coolness, but you're a cool bean in my book. :)

As this thread had more legs than the other, (And patch made it, so instant +1) so I've renamed this as the official LBP PSP thread and locked the other.

    Hope no one minds.

What's with all these regs being uncharacteristically nice to the OP?

    COPY AND PASTE

I am really looking forward to this! Making levels on the bus/train to work!

My big real hope is a literal translation to the PSP (new levels natch) but with the same materials etc, obviously downscaled texture and poly-wise in the PSP version. The big dream is to be able to work on levels portable and then port them to the PS3.

I'm unsure about this game. What is it going to offer over the PS3 version? If it's just going to be an inferior version of the game, but on a handheld, I can't see the point.

The point is in your statement. (hint: handheld)

    Proper gameplay "trailer"

I hope some of those material and background will also appear in the PS3 version.

LBP being played on a PSP Go. Loading times seem pretty long, it is really impressive though. The Go looks much easier to use the analogue stick with, I would be tempted to buy one just for that if I played my PSP more than once in the past year.

Are there any walkthrough videos or articles from E3 detailing the level building tool features for this?
