Pinifarina as a design firm do have some duff designs in their list for certain but when you look at the full list of notable cars by them on Wiki they have done an amazing amount of cool cars.

For sure. I thought it was appropriate for this thread that I pick out the dodgy ones!

If I was going to choose an ironically gay car for someone called 'ILoveThrashMetal' it would be either one of those or a Nissan micra

Every fucker round by me's got alloys these days. I don't see the point of them if you don't stand out from the crowd with them. If I ever get a car it's going to have good old steel wheels with the nastiest plastic trim available, held on with black cable ties.

Cubby didn't know how to turn off sigs!

Because on any car above 'heap of shit' class they actually help performance and economy.

    Plus good ones look cool.

You can love Thrash Metal and also love sensible economic motoring that shows consideration for the environment and the future of the planet.

    I guess.

I dont really see how you working in the sex industry for 12 years is relevant to you being wrong about alloy wheels.

I think he realised that his experience of 'rims' doesnt, in this case, relate to cars.

I quite like it but it seems to be another one where from certain angles it looks fantastic and from other angles it's ugly. But on the whole I like it. It's a bit Supra-esque.

It's a confusing mess and therefore fits perfectly into the Japanese performance car aesthetic.

Yep, the styling is all over the shop and I quite like that quirk of Japanese performance cars :)

I like that new Toyota a lot but I have a soft spot for Japanese street cars. Nothing will ever beat my love for the RX7.

It's nicer looking than both the 350Z and the GT-R. But yes you're right, they don'ty really go for sleek and understated do they

I love the gt 86 but I would probably get the Subaru one just because it's a Subaru, init?

It's exactly my kind of car and if I had 25 large I would probably get one over a golf gti.

I didn't know about that Subaru... Nice looking machine. The spoiler is a bit chavvy but I bet it goes like a fucker.

So are Honda and Mitsubishi going to jump on the bandwagon too?

I wouldn't have thought so. The GT 86 and the BRZ is the result of a joint project between Subaru and Toyota so the only difference between the cars is the warranty.

I dont think Mitsubishi can afford the r&d into a new FTO, especially simce the colt ralliart hasnt sold well (it is, however no.2 on my shopping list for when i get a car this October) and Honda seem perfectly happy to pump out massive bags of shite to old people.
