Registered 8 years agoJust started playing the PS3 version. DOA is very much my type of fighting game; far less technical and demanding than the likes of Street Fighter and Blazblue whilst still remaining fast and great fun.
So probably. -

Registered 8 years agoThat's why I like DoA. It's relatively simple to play, meaning you can pull off some pretty cool looking shit with minimal effort, and it feels so silky smooth.
also boobs
I read a comment somewhere, maybe GAF, which compared the new tutorial mode to Virtua Fighter 4's - high praise indeed since that's considered to be the best tutorial of any fighting game. Not enough fighters make this sort of effort to teach new players how to play. -

Registered 3 years agoSilent Hill: Book of Memories has been patched today, which apparently has addressed most of the major design issues with the game. Most reviews I've read seem unanimous in the opinion that there is a great little game hidden under these issues.
Might be worth checking out now. -

Registered 4 years agoAnyone have some tips on getting 40 minutes combined time across 4 festivals in motor storm rc? Last thing before my platinum but struggling. On some tracks people on my friends list have 7 second faster times! Fail to see how it's possible. Does the model of car used make a big difference? -

Registered 2 years agoFollowing on from the Australian rating, Atelier Totori has a download listing at the US shop Gamestop: http://www.gamestop.com/ps-vita/dlc/atelier-totori-plus-the-adventurer-of-arland-with-bonus-dlc/108757
Their phrasing seems a little weird to me but the date 16th April is mentioned.PSN ID: finn1

Hm, I did it but I can't really remember any specific tactics, I just improved my times until the total time was low enough. I don't think the model you select has an impact on your time, either.
How much lower do you need to go?PSN: DonOsito

Not usually a guarantee of a release but I'd say it's chances are pretty good

Registered 7 years agoWhat's 27 seconds compared to 40 minutes? You just need to improve 27 races by 1 second. Or 14 races by 2 seconds. I'm sure you can find a few races where you can shave off much more than that and you'll be done in no time.
I'm sorry I can't offer better advice, but I don't really remember this as a huge challenge.PSN: DonOsito

Ooh, excellent! I had good hopes for localisation for this. I checked the Temco Europe site earlier today and there was no hint but given how late they announced Atelier Ayesha it wouldn't be surprising if it was coming out in the near future.santashi wrote:

Registered 8 years agoI was planning to replay the PS3 version to get a better ending than the one I got first time around, but I think I might wait and see how this pans out. It's pretty bizarre that Totori Plus shows up just like that, without any notice, on the US store.
Wonder if Tecmo-Koei have included the Japanese voice track this time. -

Registered 2 years agoWow, that really is no notice! I guess the April date is for the removal of the bonus DLC?
If it turns up on our store tomorrow (presumably it won't if just rated today?-not sure how that works) then it's an instant buy from me.
When I played Rorona I thought it would be even better on the Vita, then Totori Plus was announced.
I held off importing since localisation seemed hopeful and I'm so glad it is getting a release here. PSN ID: finn1

PEGI ratings are completely random. It's either the indication of a game that hasn't been announced yet coming to said console - or it's a rating for a game that launched a few weeks ago.

I suppose if Tecmo Koei are going to stealth release the US version, who's to say that won't happen to the EU version as well?

Compile Heart have said they'd like Holy Sorcery Story and Monster Monpiece localised if there's a company out there that would do it. The first seems fairly likely (looks very much like something NISA would go for) but if Monster Monpiece gets localised then I'll have to pick a hat to start chewing.
