I am off to London Zoo on Saturday, I am looking forward to it, not far from me but not been for about 25 years. Was playing around with my 55-200mm earlier as I thought that would be best to take, understand the difference between a slow and fast lens now :/

Some shots from my recent family vacation in Portugal
    Moorish Castle in Sintra
    Even Moorish Castel
    Pena Castle

    Then my E-PL1 refused to write to the SD card so we bought a point and shoot replacement. ;_;

    Aqueduct
    There be demon monks here
I was crying bitter tears of blood over the fact that I saw this through the lens of a 100GBP point and shooter

Anybody have any recommendations as to camera kit insurance?
    I've just bought a 70-200mm 2.8 and I think it's about time I got my gear covered.

Just bought a 10 stop ND filter. There's no hope for me now.

    You're doomed! Doomed I say!

It's when you find yourself buying one of those little spirit levels that clip onto the hot shoe that you've got to worry... ;-)

No shots from weekend? Or was the weather rubbish?

Oh I've had one of those spirit levels for years :)

I've been out 3 times now and have nothing worth showing anybody but I'm learning. I'm hitting Dungeness again soon to finally try and crack that very weird place.

I'm trying to de-stress and going from fast-paced street shooting to landscapes is a bit like going fishing I guess.

Yup, 'tis very relaxing. I tend to view it as a nice walk in the country, if you get a nice photo at the end it's a bonus really.

What's the idea with a ten stop ND filter? Will you only cover part of the image with it or do you want misty water?

Only just noticed this sorry. I quite like the blurry clouds look. Hope to try it next weekend.

Are they straight out of the camera Lou?

Seeing those isn't helping my X100 lust... :/

It's an incredible camera, should go down as a classic. 599 now I think.

@Tomo The three mountain pics and the Amsterdam houses are sooc, yes, with no post-processing whatsoever. They're just downsized because I don't have a pro account. The other 2 or 3 have some mild post-processing.

My D90 is gathering dust, if it's any consolation. ;)

Any pointers for an nd kit? Something that would fit both 62mm and 52mm (I think, the nex filter size).

Didn't really know where to put this but just been to currys/pcworld and they are selling 2x sandisk 16gb Class 10 sd cards for 19.99. Seems a pretty good deal to me, especially if you have two cameras.

Didn't really want to start a new thread so thought it be good here

Just saw this website, basically upload your pics onto their market. People have to pay to download that pic and you take a share of the money. Another else use this site or perhaps a better site to sell their pics

Www.foap.com Found the app on my phone

Any experiences of selling your photos online ?

For those of you who notice stuff my E-PL 1 decided that it hated me and didn't want to save any of my pictures to a memorycard anymore.

To make matters worse Olympus are a bunch of cunts that don't allow anyone but hhem to fix their cameras.

So, I have just ordered a Panasonic GX1 and i feel really good about it! Jay!
