    so true.
took a wee while to warm up but i havent laughed so much at a comedy program as when the camera panned round to show moss working behind the bar. almost missed the rest of the episode cos i was laughing so much!

as for inbetweeners, i really like it but they showed these ads far too early, i dont think there are many people left in britain who DONT know the second series is on this thursday... new big bang theory as well! happy days.

Saw this last night for the first time as a chap in the office was raving about it. Quite funny actually, and I've just ordered the 1st DVD series on the back of last night.

The first series was better than what we've seen of the second so far. So you shouldn't be dissapointed with the DVD. It's brilliant, brilliant stuff!

Watched it last night, no where near Space standard imho but it was pretty funny

    "Bus Wankers!"

    "why are we slowing down"

But they dubbed the black guy and the Chinese guy it seems for some weird reason.

I wouldn't mind this program if the main character was not in it. He just whines on all the fucking time and I can't find the funny side.
The others are funny but the main guy destroys the program imo.

The scene (from last nights ep) where they were talking about who they would "knob" the mum or the sister was brilliant! GLOL!

Neil: "I've really thought about it and I'd definately do Will's mum"
    Will: "Thanks Neil"

I like the show but if you think about it, it's just a bunch of knob/sex jokes. Not the cleverest comedy out there but still good fun.

"Your mum, she has the sex" hahaha

That episode was fucking genius. I love the ambulance lift :-) oh, and of course, Moss in the bar at the end. Truly awesome.

I only saw this for the first time last week, and yes, it's the funniest episode of a comedy I've seen for many years. Pissed myself at so many bits.

Do you really expect anything else from a show about 18/19yo's? The scene at Will's "dinner party" where he tries to have a civilised conversation but the rest of the lads keep bring it down into the gutter was brilliant.

  • Deleted user 27 April 2009 16:48:51
Yeah, this programme is hilarious. Peep Show is funnier though.

    p.s.

    'what are you painting?'
    'a triptych'
    'what's it called?
    'bad sandwich'
'oh well shame you can't come to the party'
'sorry tim, busy. syncronic renderings of human emotion (ad libbing here) etc'
'there'll be girls at the party'
    'Really?!'
    'yeah'
    'hmmmmmmm'

    Brian is the best.

Peep Show isn't on the same level as this show. They are different beasts. There's space for both of them in my life - both are lung-vomitingly funny.

of course. i can happily subsist on a diet of comedy. as long as it's good comedy

    i.e. not BBC3 or ITV

I love this show but Peep Show is by far the best comedy since Spaced, in fact it's better then Spaced!
  • Deleted user 28 April 2009 13:03:48
Wasn't really that good this week, was it? :(

    IT Crowd?!

    This?

The latter is alright, the former is absolutely dreadful and I'm quite uncomfortable watching it, especially around people who actually find it funny.

    Just my opinion.

Spaced destroys both of them, Peep Show isn't my favourite sitcom by any means but it's better for sure. Trailer Park Boys > all (although that is Canadian).

I think you're about the only other person on here other than me that thinks the IT Crowd is utterly unfunny bollocks.

We'll need to get some defences up before the hordes arrive.

Heh heh. I watched the first episode of S2 on the E4 catch up thingy at lunch time and it was great. Still chuckling about a couple of scenes now :D
