Go and race for Audi in WEC? I can see Webber's face now. :D

I'm not a massive fan of the bloke (Vettle), but he really is the best driver since Schuie, Hamilton and Button won their titles because of the car and yes, the RedBull is obviously the best car, but you get the impression he could win it in another car too (unlike Hamilton and Button).

The problem with the sport of f1 is you win it by beating your teammate, it is almost always the best car that wins so judging a driver becomes really difficult by how many championships they have won.

Loved the imagery of Vettel standing on his car, having done some doughnuts.

C'mon GT6.. have an urge to jump in a car and race around Silver Stone..

I think Alonso and Kimi are better drivers. Next year should be good, with all the car changes going on. Would be great to see McLaren at the top, and Ferrari too.

Grats to Seb. Impressive drive and it just felt he wanted to prove he could win without massive strategy and by actually driving. That celebration shows how much it means to him even now. Despite how boring RBR/Vettel are making F1 cant deny the lads started to really show his race craft (rather than his hot lap pace) last half of last season and this one compared to the dominance of the RBR car in his first 2 WDC`s.

Wonder how the remaining races will turn out now that RBR have everything in the bag and he just gets to race for "fun".

Grosjean has really put his mark down now. Hope Lotus give him a worthy car next year.

Massa deserves another drive next year too. He has been more impressive than Alonso lately (despite Alonso`s Webber-like luck today).

Nice to see Lotus and Permaine staying classy over the radio to Kimi. They should be thankful he's dragged them back into relevance despite repeatedly failing to pay him on time. He's always been too good for that team.

I think Permaine had a point today, not Kimi's finest hour.

Grosjean was slowest through the speed traps, wonder how many cars he overtook on track on his way to 3rd, can't have been more than 5. Textbook strategy.

They've properly thrown their toys out of the pram since he signed for Ferrari. I won't be unhappy to see them dissappear, as they inevitibly will at some point as they are fucking skint and seemingly run by clowns.

Heh, Vettel fined 25,000 for doing doughnuts and not going straight to parc ferme after the race.

Further proof the FIA really are joyless clowns.

Any chance Vettel would consider a move to a new team at some point in his career? I didn't rate Alonso quite as much as I have since he left Renault first time around. Even though he still had some great races.

Is it next year for new engines? Half expect Mercedes or Ferrari to win one or both titles then.

At some point you'd think personal pride would kick in and he'd want some of his accomplishments to not include the words 'Red' and 'Bull'.

Considering how naturally quick the guy is it's a real shame F1 drivers don't race other stuff on their off weekends any more.

    2010, 2011, 2012, 2013

Shows to me a team obviously dominating.

At the end of the day he's done well and is an amazing driver but it is all about the car, circumstance and politics, too.

Alonso and Hamilton could easily have also won those 4 back to back as well, such is the nature of F1.

It is all about the car.

We should also be acknowledging the design genius of Adrian Newey as much as the talent of Seb.

I wouldn't be so sure. People talk about the field being "reset" next year, but look at it this way - we won't be seeing Marussia battling for wins.

And Red Bull are to Renault, what Mercedes is to Mercedes and Ferrari is to Ferrari. Will a change in rules help? Yes. By as much as people want it to? Probably not.

Personally I think the best we can hope for is half a season where Newey isn't fully running on all cylinders, unless the Renault engine is troublesome (which I very much doubt). It's still an aero dominated formula. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Renault produce the best all round engine anyway to be honest
