Niko Hülkenberg's merch is currently 50% off at the Sauber shop... Gutiérrez's stuff remains unchanged in price.

So that pretty much confirms Lotus for next year.

Some say he's from Finland and he lives on a diet of vodka and ice cream.
All we know is he's called the Ice Man.

And he's driving for Ferrari next year.

And now the merry-go-round hits full speed.

With Lotus money troubles I wonder if Maldonado's pot of gold will tempt them. As quick as Hulkenberg is does he draw the sponsors, not that I agree with that way of thinking.

Maldonado and Grosjean in the same team? With all of the cars they'll have to rebuild they'll end up doubling their budget.

Fair point. It'll make the Codemasters games seem more life like at least. :D

It's odd, as big an F1 fan as I am, I wont go and see that...

...and it's pretty much entirely because I hate the fact that Hunt ended up winning. Still, on the bright side Lauda had two more titles in him, which is amazing given how severe that crash was.

Imagine that Thor wins instead. Much better.

I'm on the fence about seeing Rush. On the one hand, it's an F1 film. On the other, the trailers make it look incredibly over-exaggerated.

The trailers don't do it justice. I think they're over-exaggerated to tempt your average cinema-goer, but the film itself isn't. There's a lot of focus on the back story of the individual drivers (i.e. Hunt & Lauda), which added a lot of stuff I wasn't aware of before.

I'll keep that in mind. I very nearly went to see it a few days ago. Wont get another opportunity until next week.

I hate the way all of the presenters and journalists gush about how amazing and what an event the Singapore GP is. I guess they must have decent hospitality because everyone watching knows that the race is often pretty crappy.

Singapore is the same as Monaco to me, brilliant fun to watch via an onboard for a couple of laps and then it's just dull. Then again this year has produced good races at traditionally dull tracks and vice versa...

Surprised no one has mentioned Montoya going back to single seater racing with Penske in Indycars. Even if it is the red headed step child of open wheel racing I find this news exciting.

Alonso is McLaren's main target for 2014.

Singapore isn't too shabby a race. Certainly more overtaking and eventful than Monaco

Anyone been to the Singapore GP before? Wondering if it's worth a visit or better seen on the telly.

McLaren need a punch in the balls. They're verging on a Williams style fall from grace and signing Alonso is only going to help that, seriously, how long would it be before he throws a hissy fit and leaves again?

Hope everyone but Vettel crashes on lap one and he meanders through the track, setting a new record of the longest time completed in. Then hope he drives by the crowd with a huge inflatable finger.
