You have a method in mind for this?

How did Perez get a drive at McLaren? He treats other drivers as if they are AI in a computer game.

Sadly I think the championship is now over. Hope I'm wrong.

Nah, it's done. All the other contenders keep taking points from each other or having the odd piss-poor race. Vettel has been the one constant at the front all season. He and Red Bull deserve it.

Noooo. That ends a stunning record of consecutive points finishes, along with his slim championship hopes.

I find Lazenby's questions to Adrian Newey a bit inappropriate. I'm clearly a Hamilton fan, but why would you ask him where Mercedes' performance was or what could Lewis have done to fend off Vettel?

I hate to admit it but I nearly fell asleep a few times during that. I also hate to admit that unless Vettel has a few very unlikely retirements that's the championship over, although the fight for second, third and forth could be good.

I turned off after the podium but Lazenby has had a boner for Hamilton and British pride all weekend so that line of questioning doesn't surprise me.

When EJ priced up all the bits on the cars I was just embarrassed for F1 to be honest. It's all got a bit silly.

Yes but in current climate it looks more so. I'd like to see them all in identical cars, and I never thought I'd say that.

Fell asleep during the race, could be due to this cold I seem to have picked up, but I'm pretty sure if it had been wet I'd stay awake.

One of those races where they find themselves in natural pace order after a handful of laps. Could have raced for another 100 laps and nothing would have happened.

At least Merc seem to be on top of their tyre issues. Car didn't really suit Spa, but bodes well for them on some of the high downforce tracks to come after Monza.

Very dull race to be honest. I like Vettel and all, but damn if I'm sick of him winning all the time.

Rather him than Hamilton TBH. The coverage this year has largely been a Mercedes wankfest. God help us when they start winning regularly.

Vettel dropped major hints he'll quit in a couple of years, so won't have to wait long.

Off the top of my head, if Vettel wins the title this year won't he have been World Champion for at least half the time he's been in F1? Mind boggling.

It'll be 4 years out of 6.5 won't it? Halfway through 2007 at BMW then TR, 2008 at TR, 09 at RB then 4 titles on the bounce.

    I'm still not convinced LOL

Ok, it was five years, not a couple.

I'm not a believer in the "leader miles ahead, race was shit" school of thought, mostly because you can still have great races amongst the rest of the field. That race? Properly tedious as beyond the first few laps and a handful of incidents, nothing was going on.

We didn't even get Webber giving it full beans on his shiny new mediums at the end... he just sort of gave up.

Interesting that the theme here seems to be that it was a boring race. It didn't hold my interest, but I couldn't figure out why. There was plenty of incident, plenty of overtakes, and a fair bit of actual racing. The only thing I thought it lacked was a chase - Hamilton seemed to be catching Alonso at one point, but seemed to back off after a couple of laps according the the deltas. And Alonso just seemed to drift backwards slowly.

Cubby didn't know how to turn off sigs!

He started 9th and finished 2nd, so that seems a pretty unfair description of his race!

it was dull as there didn't seem to be any of the usual intruige from the tyre compounds providing different strats and disappointingly despite a great looking grid the order sorted itself out early due to that long run after eau rouge.

Pretty much agree with most of the comments already. For some reason this race didn't hold my attention as much as normal. There was a few good moments of close racing and some decent overtaking here and there but it all just felt a touch flat overall.

A bit disappointed in the Merc`s really. I expected more from them after the last few races. Vettel/RBR seemed to surprise everyone really with their setup. Also RBR, from that race, are looking supremely dominant. Hope that isn't an omen for the rest of the season.
