R3 is excellent, easily one of the best FPS's this generation and probably the best PS3 FPS.

Having given up on Assassin's Creed 3, three weeks ago, I decided to start again last night. Having completed the first two, i'm really giving this one more than a fair chance, but it seems to be paying off. I'm only at sequence 3, but i'm enjoying it much more than my first attempt, which ended at sequence 9.

Hopefully I can see it through to the end this time.

I'm also playing both TheatRythm and Picross e2 on the 3DS. Enjoying the former immensely.

I'm mostly playing PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale at the moment. I bought it on a whim last weekend and have been pleasantly surprised at just how good it is.

I've finished with Dragon's Dogma until the re-release in April, so I'm thinking of going back to either Dark Souls or The Witcher 2.

Just started Dishonored. Beautiful looking game, lot to take in but I'm liking it after an hour or so.

Kingdoms of Amalur until last week when i came off my bike and hurt my thumb. No way i could play at the moment. I'm enjoying the game though. Not bad at all.

Xenoblade Chronicles has been keeping me entertained since then and i'm thoroughly enjoying it. Good times.

Was playing Bulletstorm but tried loading it up the other night and got a message telling me it was corrupt and to redownload it. I did that and it worked but when I went back a day later, I got the same message. So I've moved on and now currently playing:

    Pro Evo 2013
    ZombiU
    Far Cry 3

Having an awesome time with all of them!

Been playing a lot of Rayman Origins with the mrs, turns out it has done of the best videogane music ever.

Also been playing that Odyssey game on XBLIG, the Elite clone. Seems good but need to have a proper session with it though.

Agreed, it is very good indeed. I did have it before, during one of my previous PS3 ownerships;-) but only played the first hour or so.
The thing that really has me hooked Is the
    atmosphere...everywhere seems so desperate
Looking forward to a meaty session today or tomorrow.

Coming to the end of Bioshock 2 DLC - Minerva's Den.

Don't want it to end really - fantastic atmosphere.

Everybody should just calm down a little bit and have a nice cup of tea.

Starting DmC now - 2 levels in and it has Ninja Theory's hallmark of vivid colours and gorgeous art design.

Man, Devil May Cry seriously needed a reboot.

Music so far though has been typical DMC atrocious

Playing Alan Wake's American Nightmare. Only dipped into Fight Till Dawn briefly when it first came out. Came back to it to give Arcade mode a proper go and see if I can get the achievements.

Fuck me, the nightmare levels are tough. It's starting to click now. Realising that it's easier than it seems to just outrun them and pick a couple off every so often. Still getting humped mind. I'm so close to the last achievement though so gonna persevere.

Skyrim. Nothing but skyrim. I avoided it for ages, since I knew it'd take loads of time from my limited gaming time.

It's like digital crack quite frankly and I am already rather addicted to it's exploring, fighting and looting ways. So many late nights already, which get more difficult to cope with as you age. ;-)

PS3: Surprising myself by still playing loads of Black Ops 2. First time in 25 years of gaming I've been enjoying multiplayer online.

    360: Skyrim

    PC: Just finished Sherlock Holmes.

Wii U: Super Mario Galaxy - fun, but like every other Wii game it would just be so much better with a proper controller. Looks like it should be a 10/10 game, but plays like a 6/10 game.

    Still nothing here.

In fact I've had to resort to playing the Crysis 3 beta more than I'd planned on (it's so average).

If Lovefilm don't send me Dead Space 3 in time for the weekend I'll start suffering gaming withdrawal symptoms.

I'm going to start playing dishonored properly. Bought it for Christmas but not really played it much. Once I unlock more abilities I can see the stealth being good fun, having to rely on blink too much at the moment.

Also playing some Blur multiplayer. I always love Blur revivals, the game never gets dull.

Think I will try getting into Far Cry 3 again. I played it a lot for a few days but realised it made gave me motion sickness. Will need to make sure I play it in smaller sessions...

My ban on buying new games until GTA V should help me clear through some of my unloved games. Although Broken Sword 5 will tempt me when that is released

Blink is key in Dishonored and a big part of the stealth mechanic for me.
I'd sneak up on folks and then blink behind them to choke 'em, sling 'em over my shoulder and blink away to dump 'em out of sight.

    Blink Stealth is best Stealth.

yeah, in some of the tips guides I've read, you're supposed to be able to get good at combat and be able to block and dispatch large groups of foes but so far whenever I've screwed up and been seen, tons of guards swarm around me and kick my ass real fast.

It's fun to use but I also want to try the other powers too. I'm not really going for a pure stealth play through. Didn't realise you could blink when carrying an enemy.

I'm pretty terrible at combat too, I generally have to rely on the crossbow

You can Blink when carrying but you can clamber, the up-arrow sigil won't do anything but flat surfaces are fine.

I went for a no-offensive powers low chaos run first time. I started a high chaos run but got distracted and ended up going stealth so i have to restart that sometime soon :)
