That Country Church one must've been inspiration for Mulligan and O'Hare.

-edit- in looking for a M&OH pic I noticed someone on the net said this already. Reset the timer for me having that original thought ;)

Possibly the worst album cover you could have in today's social climate

**Warning - Definitely NSFW, and is er... a bit dodgy.**

Edit - for those who don't know, it's "Blind Faith" by Blind Faith

    Anything by Deep Purple.
Particularly the one with naked, pre-teen girls climbing about. Total Daily Express meltdown material. And awful.

    Just google 'Mayhem bootleg'.

Might want to take safe search off.

    Oh hell's bells - sorry - you're correct.

Deep Purple album covers are almost all awful, but then there'd be something terribly wrong if they weren't. Actually, maybe all '70's album covers should be excluded from this thread, on the basis that they're mostly awful.

John Travolta just bought a house in my semi small town in South Africa. Hoping to meet (say he touched me) him soon.

He looks more and more like a poorly put together action man now a days... only an action man has less plastic per square inch.

Aaaaand I accidentally clicked that at work before noticing the 'NSFW' warning, which really should be part of the hyperlink.

Why would you post that link anywhere, relevant or not?!

Can moderators please remove this link and references to it (including this post) before somebody gets sacked and/or in trouble with the police.

Honestly, I don't want to click it again to find out, especially at work.

Her name is Mariora Goschen, she was 11 years old at the time the photo was taken. Her parents were told what the cover would be and they consented to it. She was paid 40 for it.

Safe link to Independent article from 1994 (although don't click the Read More link at the bottom)

Nope. I put the 2 'NSFW!' warnings into the hyperlink in my reply, for other people's benefit when viewing my reply.

    No problem.

My ultimate point is that the link isn't suitable for anywhere though, certainly not the workplace, and it's probably for the best if it was removed from the forum by the mods.

Weird. I've known that image all my life (Dad was a big Clapton fan). I've never thought of it as dodgy.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

I certainly wouldn't have the vinyl of it framed on my wall, that's for sure! I remember having a stack of classic rock albums in my hands in a shop one day and put the Blind Faith one back because of that cover.

Anyway, my two worst album covers ever are these. This has a bit of the NSFW about it. 'Mom's Apple Pie' indeed.

Having said that, it's not a tap on this ***uber NSFW*** cover by a band called Regurgitate. Anyone who calls their album 'Carnivorous Erection' and featuresTHIS atrocity as the cover must surely be into commercial suicide.
