Registered 4 years agoMuch better venue this year in my opinion by the way... was very nice food, a good varied menu (though the lentil dumplings swimming in what I think was Milk of Magnesia were a bit unpleasant), and a lot more spacious.3DS: 4055-2781-2855

It did take over 30 minutes to get the first beer in though, which is grounds to have the place shut down in my book.

Registered 1 year agoWe found some free wifi in Victoria station on the way home. Curry night was brilliant and I got a beer on the house so everything was good. See you's next year! (dean and josh said 'hello' too)

Registered 4 years agoI thought the orders were ok, but the food itself took a while and i had to ask several times to remind them i had ordered more poppadoms that were supposed to be pre-starter but didnt turn up until after the main, and they forgot abot my side dish as well (though in retrospect, they were probably doing me a favour wit that one). But on the whole, only minor quibbles. Would be happy to be there again next year.3DS: 4055-2781-2855

Registered 4 years agoWe didn't, but I guess there's nothing stopping people who want to from sitting together and ordering a Thali or something. That's actually what I normally do (not at the expo curry night, but in general).
Would probably have to be something that gets sorted out in advance though.

Might be able to make the curry this year if my move to west london goes through. Usually skip fridays as i dont take a day off work for the expo. -
