Some new holes would be ace. But since it's just one of N games on the disc I doubt it.

Odd choices IMO. If they want to attract sales then they should make it as different as possible from the first game (unless they intend on including all the games from the original Wii Sports and this game becomes the new pack-in with the console).

I would have picked badminton over table tennis as I think its slightly slower pace could benefit more from the motionplus.

Yeah not feeling the basketball, can't quite see how that'd work.

    Archery looks ace though.

Are there any hands on reports from E3 yet?

Do we have any news if the Golf has more holes / courses than just 9?

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realise half of them are stupider than that

Found a hands on report from GameSpot:

"Right off the bat, we noticed several new "Resort" courses, in addition to the original nine from Wii Sports, which should please those who exhausted the original's small supply. As for the game itself, driving feels very similar to the original, though with a twist--literally. Depending on how you angle the controller, you can apply either draw or fade to your shot as you swing, which is a feature that was lacking in its predecessor. However, we did find it a bit more difficult to hit the ball straight ahead as a result, which actually mirrors this editor's (poor) golfing performance in real life pretty closely. You win this round, MotionPlus. After eventually (if not haphazardly) making it onto the green, we finally got the chance to put the new putting controls to the test--an often-maligned facet of the original. Thankfully, we're happy to report that putting has been greatly improved; no longer did the game mistake our pulling back on the club as a putt, and once we did actually make a proper putting motion, the force was accurately measured, instead of the crap shoot to which we'd grown accustomed."

Yay! Apparently Frisby golf is included as well.

I suppose it is too much to ask for this to include online play?

Yeah, probably. Bloody shame that - if it was Wii Speak compatible, that would be great.

Disappointed by the lack of Cricket in this game too ...

Meh, I'm waiting for the NATAL port where I can scan a real frisbee and a real dog into the game.

Not surprised to be honest. Americans and the Japanese dont give a toss about Cricket. Its only around 10 percent of the market this games aimed at that would be bothered about Cricket, because lets not forget outside England no one else in Europe also gives a toss.
The guys at Nintendo (japan) probably don't even know such a Sports exists.
I would love a good Cricket game, but it will have to be a standalone product.
