    He's right. It adds nothing over the original other than being ridiculously easy - beating the top teams in your division by 200 points (even 400 at times) in your first season just shouldn't happen. The 'HD graphics' aren't much to shout about either. Definitely one to avoid even if you feel nostalgic.

    Dammit :(

    I was initially interested in the fact it has more league lengths as the original 2 didn't feel long enough.

    But if its too easy. Well, shit.

    @quadfather

    My interest was certainly piqued when I head about Speedball 2 HD as well, but watching this quickly turned me off the idea.

    Maybe my rose-tinted specs are a tad grimy, but I'm sure it used to be a lot more fun once upon a time:

    Agree with his points, bar one - I think the chaos engine recent remake isn't that bad. Yes, there are no additional features, but at least it's a faithful version. Plus you can smooth the graphics a bit.

    Yes! This weekend's deal has all the Daedalic and Telltale adventure games on sale.

    I've been waiting for the Telltale games to go on sale again since missing them last time. As they're currently 85% off, I've just scooped them all up for about 16. Saved 90!

    The fantastic Alpha Centauri is also cheap and you should buy it because it's one of the best strategy games ever made and if you do I'll be your best friend.

    Is it one game at a time, until it runs out every time? So theoretically couldn't they blast through all 100 games in a couple of hours?

    Yeah, basically, a game pops up for about 2. You buy it and the counter goes down by 1. When all are bought, it loads up the next game.

    You have to be quick though, as popular games get snapped up buy buyers really quickly, so it's worth just having the window open and checking what game is available at the time of your visit. I just got warlords 3 for $0.99!

    I see - i just watched a game I'd never heard of sell out in just under two minutes though, so are some games going to get repeated? Otherwise, like I say, all 100 games will be sold a couple of hours after the sale started! No?

    True - but I've seen that Lone Adventure game appear twice now, so maybe they'll recycle them. Dunno. But it's still worth grabbing a bargain :)

    The Inner World - anyone played that? Looks good but always like to hear what an EG user thinks/thought.
