    Week 3, day 2: Managed the max 25, though arms collapsed on the last one again. Definitely repeating this week, probably was a bad move to jump straight into week 3. Still aching from last night's gym session as well, which didn't help...

    Week 1 day 2, good fun so far. Stopped at 23 for the last set. Quite pleased with that as I've never really bothered much chest work even when I was doing weights 4 days a week. Back and legs were much more interesting, and now all I do is cycle.

    You'll be surprised what pushups can do. Of course, cutting out the fast food won't hurt either.

    W3/D2 done, only 25 on final set. Think I'll see how I feel after the next session. Feeling pretty beefy though.

    I should look at this. Is it every day? Being away from home a few days a week makes that tough. Need to do some upper body work though

    3 days a week. Any days you like. And it takes about 5 minutes per day.

    It's an interesting approach I'm sceptical I'll do it to be honest. Although saying that I've essentially done 100 press ups tonight, just not without stopping!

    Is a pushup the same thing as a pressup? Either way, thanks guys for the bumping of this thread - it's helping to remind me to do my own pressups, although I don't think I'll ever do 100 of them in a session on purpose.

    Haven't worked out since 2003 (stopped as I ended up bedridden for 1.5 years and houseridden for the following 6 or so), decided to give this a go... managed 8 on the initial test, quite embarressing considering I could do 60 when pushing myself back then and reach the 100 mark with sit ups (now only 20).

    Hell jogging half a mile does me in now.

    Time to sort myself out I guess.

    Got the android app so going to start at it on monday (mon, wed, fri, most sensible days), doesn't take a lot of time out off the day so why not. Girlfriend just told me I have to stick at it or I'll be haviing cold showers for a while...

    70 in the initial test, not too shabby. Mind you, the step up from 70 to 100 is rather large if my memory serves me correct.

    I've got into the habit of doing a fair few press ups a couple of times per week, just want to step it up to three figures.

    Trust me, you'll catch up pretty quick - it's improving from where I am to the magic 100 that's the real test :)
