The game itself isn't available to buy digitally though.

    @riceNpea

Skyrim is fine on PS3 these days. Cappy is just one of the bitterest and most resentful fellows on here. His distaste knows no bounds. I'm not sure who did what when, but it's certainly left scars. ;)

Cheers, I meant Valkyria Chronicles isn't available as a download unfortunately.

To note that if you do get white knight, make sure you get the sequel as it includes the first one on the disc.

Might be of interest to PS3 RPGers.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix is coming to PS3 this autumn. Still no sign of KH3, I guess we'll have to wait till the next gen for Square-Enix to get it's act together with it more interesting MIA RPGs.

I'm wondering why there's been no discussion about Atelier Ayesha. It looks like something santashi would be all over, at least.

Metacritic says it's not very good, but still it's sitting there on the PSN store, tempting me with its (her?) beauty.

I've got my eye on that too. Sod metacritic.

I want to date a girl named Ayesha.

I fear I'll be buying this after I've had a few beers tonight. Maybe I'll try to avoid going out. :-)

The previous two Atelier games, Totori and Meruru, are great despite their middling Metacritic scores. I haven't played Ayesha yet but it should be a good starting point for anyone new to the franchise because it's the start of a new story arc.

32 at Amazon but they won't have stock until Friday for some reason.

Mass Effect3 has a metacritic score of 93. I played it last night as I got it with ps+ and thought it was pants. Clunky controls, boring environments and about 12 frames per second.

I might be in the minority on that one but just saying - metacritic doesn't account for personal taste!

Ill be buying alchemists once I finish Persona and Ni No Kuni.

Believe me, it's very far from 12 fps. And I should know; most of the games I play on the computer run at about that.

It's true what you say about it, though. It's competent enough, but there's no spark there.

Just thought I'd mention that Ayesha is currently 28.78 at TheHut with the REC10 discount code. That did it for me.

I now have all three Mass Effect games, but I haven't finished any of them yet. I think it's solid sci-fi; I like the universe they created and the lore, the ships and just conversing with characters. Conversely, I find the actual gameplay quite shocked and very forgettable. Especially in the first game, the gunplay is really quite poor.

Today I really feel in the mood for a Zelda-style action adventure come RPG. I think I know the answer, but are there any on PS3? I've played Dragon's Dogma, I don't like The Elder Scrolls all that much, I've got Okami HD. Is Nier up to much? I'd kind of like to play a Zelda game as it goes, but I'm not getting my Cube out of the loft and I don't think my wife would approve of the appearance of another console.

Nier might do the trick for you.

It's pretty cheap these days so you might as well give it a try.

Nier is excellent. A brilliant story and art style. Kinda pervy though. Darksiders is Zelda re-dressed, 3D Dot Game Heroes is an homage to the classic Zelda formula.

Cheers guys, I enjoyed Darksiders 1 and forgot that I bought but didn't download DS2 a few weeks back. I think I'll get on that. I might also break out Shadow of the Colossus for hat epic fantasy feeling.

I started Darksiders 2 last night. Only played literally about the first half hour, but first impressions are very good. Feels so much tighter and more polished than the first game.
