Registered 8 years agoThe Reality/Talent TV format has had its day. BGT has been bloody awful this year, The X Factor is stale. Strictly has never appealed. No one cares about those Andrew Lloyd Webber ones. Big Brother outstayed its welcome.
What's the next move?Paintings & Photographs

Registered 3 years agoI watched BGT for the first time this year the other night, and the studio was noticeably smaller than usual. It definitely doesn't seem to have gripped the nation as it usually does. -

Registered 6 years agoI "skimmed" it last night as the wife was watching. Did I hear someone called "WatchingPorn"? It raised a chortle anyway. -

Registered 3 years agoNo surprise, all the Cowell stuff is fixed to some degree. Although this does come across as something that's made up to be so silly it has to be true:
Scouts working for SYCO first saw Ronan Parke (the 12 year old singer) some two years ago when he was just 10 and was singing at a birthday party for former Norwich City goal-keeper, Bryan Gunn. -

Registered 10 years agoI've never watched BGT, but do indulge in a bit of X-factor. That there are chosen contestents is fine, but the auto-tune stuff last year just made a mockery of it all. -

Registered 3 years agoIf they didn't bother with all the fixing stuff, it'd be incredibly boring (X Factor). While people raged over Katie and Wagner being kept in all the time, it was bloody entertaining. The show is always dull once you're down to the good singers with no personalities. -

Very closely related to that. It was a Thai (?) girl with the very unfortunate name.

Registered 3 years agoHe's been the most entertaining by miles, from what I've seen (admittedly only tonight and yesterday's episodes). The singers can fuck off, that's for The X Factor. -

Children 'bringing cold chips to school' for lunch
Last nights' chips. Jesus wept.
What is wrong with people? If you've got money for an iPhone you can afford basic, healthy food for your family. If you're bright enough to use a Blackberry, you're bright enough to put a half-decent packed lunch together for your child.
Unless you are a fucking Morlock. This post is unsuitable for those with a high rumour-sensitivity.
