Well he won't be fighting Mayweather that's for sure!

    Never rated Khan at all.

I like it when he's angry.

Just another vastly overrated British boxer. If you won belts for babbling a load of shite on camera all of the world titles would he over here. Shame it goes on boxing ability, which they have little of. Love seeing the Brits get mullered.

Shame, He was in control of the fight completely.

He got caught by one good shot and hes all over the place and it's only a matter of time before it's over. His chin is made out of polystyrene unfortunately.

The trouble with the Khan hype-train is that he really seems to believe it himself. The way he started swinging back once he'd been hurt was stupid.

Just watched the fight highlights. Garcia was by far the technically inferior and slower fighter, but he only had one plan, and it worked. From the beginning, he was just throwing bombs whenever Khan moved in to try to catch him with a counter. Khan's corner should have picked up on this and told their fighter to try a different method, but they probably believed Garcia's increasingly wild and frustrated swings would prove his undoing, and they got it wrong.

Hope Khan fights for a title again. He may not have a strong chin but his fights were always exciting to watch (even back in the Olympics). If Garcia fights a Tim Bradley or Maidana or even Malignaggi, he'll get beat.

    looooooooool

Incidentally, the Haye fight was way more entertaining than expected! Khan fight was disappointing though, Garcia is not realistically going anywhere big but was still able to expose some fundamental flaws in the way Amir approaches his fights. Extended camp as a result of the Peterson thing can't have helped, but still.

I enjoyed both fights, Haye/Chisora was much better than I expected.

Have to agree I can't see Garcia going on to greatness but it is the first I have seen him in so maybe he has a few tricks up his sleeve.

Khan is stuffed, even if he can work through a load of journeymen it will be a long time before he gets a shot at a decent belt.

Anyone awake for Andre Ward vs Chad Dawson? SS1.

Thought Bellew did well earlier tonight.

Interesting fight. Dawson looked out at the weight. Ward is quite a dirty fighter but he has skills.

    Hatton to make a comeback

November 24th against an unnamed opponent. Can't help but think this is more for a big paycheck than a world title. On the radio a few days ago, Steve Bunce suggested that it was to generate more interest in his promotion company.

Just seen this. Speculation of a run to a fight with Amir Kahn.

It'll have to be a big fight to get the boxing fans interested. Amir Khan is a good draw; maybe a rematch with Paulie Paulie Malignaggi, who holds a world title? I doubt whether Mayweather or Pacquiao will be interested.

Wonder who he'll get to train him. Mayweather Sr didn't work.

He was shit for his last 5 or 7 fights, I'm sure a few years off eating meat and potato pies and snorting cocaine have done him a world of good. He's gonna end up with brain damage if he's not careful
