Can anyone advise me on a good phone contract mainly for international calls? I'm based in the UK and dial out to the US often.

I'm browsing the net here and really don't have a notion what to look for :S I've been looking at O2 and all that but i'd be afraid of signing up for something that isn't a good deal.

    Thanks in advance!

Orange used to be the cheapest for international calls, not sure these days. You'll always be better off with a phone card though

    How does Skype compare?

I use it a lot for free skype to skype conversations, but I have no idea how the skype to phone costs compare to other providers but it might be worth looking at it.

Three do unlimited* international calls for Ł15. And most of their phones include 4000 minutes of Skype calls too.

*there's probably some kind of limit

I have the international saver with 3, Ł15 a month on top of whatever pay-monthly you sign up too.

3,000 minutes a month limit. Calls to mobiles are included for America and Canada.
