I suppose the price difference between similar houses and that one gives you some cash to spare on having it really, properly, completely mega-cleaned.

But I thought if you've got nothing to hide you've got nothing to fear.... Except for kidnap and theft.

Pretty idiotic of them to give such obvious proof of how these laws can be abused.

Taking all his electronic belongings is a disgrace. I'm guessing the data on all those will be copied and forwarded to the US. Here's hoping the Guardian advises it's journalists on where to store and safeguard information.

Guardian Journalist involved is threatening to publish more.

He told the BBC: "They never asked him about a single question at all about terrorism or anything relating to a terrorist organisation.

"They spent the entire day asking about the reporting I was doing and other Guardian journalists were doing on the NSA stories."

[Greenwald] said he would respond by writing reports "much more aggressively than before" and would publish "many more documents".

"I have lots of documents about the way the secret services operate in England. Now my focus will be there as well," he added.

"I think they are going to regret what they did."

Hmm, Cameron says it was nothing to do with the government and was all the polices decision.

White House says it was given the heads up about it by the British Government.

I think you need one up the bum to cure your homophobia, Choppi

I can't keep my mouth shut...

" Dozens of schools in England and Wales are accused of using language in sex education policies echoing the scrapped "Section 28" rules, which banned the promotion of homosexuality. "

Why would I want my kids school to promote homosexuality????? Sure don't pretend it doesn't exist and include relevant information for the children but why should it be promoted in school?

I don't think "promotion" means telling kids that being homosexual is better than being heterosexual or anything like that. Rather, it's just talking in a positive manner about being homosexual, to attempt to stop any shame any pupils might feel and hopefully to prevent homophobia in schools.

May well be wrong though. I suppose dm or someone could shine some light on this.

Don't go telling people you can't be gay but don't go saying it is normal and awesome. The human race wouldn't last long if everyone was gay.

    Bait?

Liverpool now one of the safest cities to live in according to the UK Statistics Authority.

    I reckon it's because I moved there.
