Just finished Mass Effect 3 and Modern warfare 3 in the last few days (the wife has been ill in bed, so it's been gaming time aplenty for me).
Probably not a lot I can say about either that hasn't already been said.
Overall I loved Mass Effect 3, but a glitch that meant a character who died turned up again in a cut scene a few hours later did detract from the immersion and annoy me, as well as the issues with the ending, so probably an 8 for me.
MW3 does what it says on the tin really, but does execute it well. Single player campaign and special ops were enjoyable, but I still prefer Battlefield 3 for online multiplayer. 7.
