In fairness, I ordered my Vita from Amazon and got it on Tuesday. I even got burned when I pre-ordered the 3DS from them, but this time I just went with "First Class". I think they are just paranoid about future deals with suppliers they don't want to release their courier stock early and be seen to break release dates.
