Just signed up for this , as have been reading all your exploits and it sounded such great fun - hopefully see you on track ...... when i've got acclimatized with a bit of practice
Any tips for a rookie racer?
The oval and road disciplines are very different but the one bit of advice that styays the same is: Put the practice in.
If you can stay on the track while doing lap times 5 seconds off the leaders you will learn so much more than getting involved in the 1st lap wrecks.
I'm quite average at it, so I can't give any great insights, but I've PM'd my name so you can add me as a friend on the site if you like.
I've only had a bit of a practice in the Mx5 around Limerock which felt nice , you really get a feeling of the weight shifting around and can feel when the grip is starting to go.
