Can't say I've ever had a problem with them. If I don't like the trade-in prices then I go elsewhere. They aren't forcing you to trade in your games, but it seems a lot of people feel obliged to accept whatever price they offer.
It is a question of timing, sometimes the prices are stupidly low, other times they are reasonable. Got £25 for COD4 a few days after the release of MW2, and got £30 for Arkham Asylum (after paying £35 for it about a month earlier).
Though apparently I'm being stupid or impatient by going into game....
