Still love cartoons. Prefer the older ones to amost of the modern ones - Looney Tunes was always and still is my favourite.
A few months ago my sister and family were up staying with me for a week. My little niece who is about 2 and a half years old likes to watch CBeebies as most of them do. I asked my sister if she ever watches any cartoons and she said she's never shown much interest.
I have a couple of Looney Tunes box sets so I stuck one on and she loved it. Every morning she would ask to put the cartoons on and this became our mini ritual every morning before everyone else got up. I was well pleased, it felt like I set on the her on the right path or something.
