Not only was it loud but I thought the use of sound was excellent.
I really enjoyed the full (though small) cinema it played to, people screaming at the jumps and groaning at the gross parts, this film isn't gorey but it is very sticky.
Though 4 people walked out during it and as the credits rolled I heard one guy say to his gal, "What the fuck was that shit". Which I thought was really funny.
