Sam & Max episode 5 dated

Reality 2.0 in April.

The fifth crime-caper in the Sam & Max series will be available in Europe on 12th April, although those of you in North America and Canada will be able to get it via GameTap on 29th March.

Episode 5 - Reality 2.0 sees detective dog and rampant rabbit venture into a different reality, as they attempt to free some unlucky gamers from the clutches of an evil videogame. Sounds familiar. The questions is, can they do it before worldwide system failure?

Just like the first four instalments, it will be available to download from the Telltale Games website for around EUR 6.93, or you can nab the entire set - both past and future releases - for 27 Euro-smackers.

There will be six games in total, and the finale of the first season is expected in May. Head over to Eurogamer TV to see the latest trailer for Reality 2.0, or pop into our Episode 5 gallery for the new screenshots.

JoWooD recently announced it would be bringing the complete first season to retail outlets across Europe in August, in an effort to translate the adventure series to those who can't read and understand English.

There's also a second series of detective delights planned, as Telltale boss Dan Connors has been telling everyone, for PC as well as next-generation consoles.

The first season has been receiving high marks so far. You can find our reviews of Culture Shock; Situation: Comedy; The Mole, the Mob, and the Meatball; and Abe Lincoln Must Die elsewhere on Eurogamer.

    2.

Bosco, and the woman that runs the shop which keeps changing business.

    Same as the others.

If yer moaning about that, then you have no soul! Go out and buy a ps3 or something.

I expect that the listening bug may well make a comeback too. And the phone answering thing. And car megaphone jokes. And Jimmy, the talking rat. And the soda poppers. Probably the sit-com will be mentioned. And of course hypnotism.

Not all of them will just be recycled. But some will.

Not that I don't love every episode anyway.
