Activision doing more Transformers
Another film means another game.
Activision plans to release another Transformers game to accompany another Transformers film.
The movie is titled Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and launches across the UK on 29th June. Activision hasn't offered a date for the videogame adaptation, but a simultaneous release would make sense.
Revenge of the Fallen will grace all platforms: PC, Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, Wii and DS. Luxoflux will create the 360 and PS3 games, Beenox will make the PC version Vicarious Visions will handle the Wii and DS games and Savage Entertainment will focus on PSP.
Players can be Autobots and Decepticons, and flip between biped and machine while smashing the the scrap-metal out of each other. Online multiplayer for those platforms capable will be in, although each SKU will vary slightly to fit the relevant system.
Hopefully this Transformers movie tie-in will be better than the previous shambles. Head over to our Transformers: The Game review to see what went wrong.

Mind you, high hopes are riding, especially if you can kick ass as Soundwave (the daddy of all Transformers)

Or alternatively, why don't they put 50 Cent in it and it'll automatically be good?
I'll get back in my box now.

@dirtysteve and kungphu
That wasn't a proper G1 game though, if I remember rightly?

Whereas last time it was pretty easy to write it off as soon as the name traveler's tales was mentioned.
(was the gossip from the time that a sequel to the melbourne house TF game was cancelled due to the first movie game true?)

Bay is a close second behind Uwe Boll when it comes to lack of any talent whatsoever.
Here's hoping for a one more like the Armada game was for PS2. Of course what we REALLY want is a G1 game using those mechanics. Preferrably with a script by Simon Furman.
