Alien Breed 3: Descent will launch on the PlayStation Store next week – some three months after appearing on Xbox Live.
It'll set you back £7.19 / €8.99, so says the EU PlayStation Blog.
Descent is the final chapter of the top down horror shooter saga Alien Breed, a trilogy of downloadable titles that have launched as timed Xbox Live exclusives.
In the third episode Survivor mode returns, as does single-player and two-player co-op (local and online).
New is the two-player Assault mode, a co-operative play mode (online or local) in which players work together to defeat aliens across specially deisgned maps for two players.
The PS3 version includes 35 Trophies.
Kristan reviewed the Xbox Live Arcade version in November, awarding it 7/10. "As with the previous two portions," he wrote, "it's a perfectly solid, fine-looking blast. With Unreal Engine 3 tech providing substantial grunt to another succession of atmospheric levels, it ticks all the right boxes in terms of how it's presented, but, again, doesn't stand up to extended play."
