Splosion man for 160 points... I already have it, but I do recommend it.. a steal at that price
  • kinky_mong #2 2 years ago

Usual rapid EG news on these offers I see. Award winning coverage I might add.
  • Ultrasoundwave #3 2 years ago

I've said it before : 160 points for 'Splosion Man is a genuine bargain.
  • siro #4 2 years ago

I think there's a typo in the news. That should read "Turdtles in Time Reshelled". ;)

  • darleysam #5 2 years ago

    Greed Corp? That's a tempter..
  • Ninja_Tino #6 2 years ago

I would've paid 1200 for Splosion Man. 800 itself was a bargain, 160 isn't worth a second thought. BUY IT! Also, Kinky, you're a right mong.

Got Trials HD for 400 points this morning!

Now...what to do with the the 400 I got left....Halo or GTA:SA......? Never played the first Halo, don't like the others but I am interested in where it all started, see if that one hooks me into the whole Halo thing....and San Andreas is, for me, the best GTA (almost equal with GTA 3) and I do miss it since I sold my PS2....decisions decisions....

@Ninja_Tino: Witty, didn't realise they taught Oscar Wilde worthy retorts in Ninja school.

I think I'm going to buy 'Splosion Man just to see what the hell you're all raving about.

    @Emmit_Assassin

In my opinion the first Halo is a lot better than the following ones. So I would recommend that (and it's only 400 points).

kinky stop being a negative nancy
  • Ninja_Tino #11 2 years ago

Brilliant, Kinky, brilliant. It's alright though. That 'Gob of War' picture is the greatest thing I've seen all day, so all's good, all's good.

i bought Trials and the Trials big pack as that was on special offer as well,i also got 'Splosion Man....unfortunately i also bought the Turtles game as well, which really isn't as great as the Arcade game that was also on XBLA..it hasn't even got the theme music FFS :)

for those who are wondering about GTA:SA..of course its a great game, but be warned i have the disc version and playing it B/C on the 360 isn't very good at all,i always drag out my XBOX1 when i wanna play it,i would imagine playing the download to be the same...but still 400 points is still damn good

Ah god i cant decide which games to get. Im tempted by splosion man and trials HD but they look like frustratingly difficult type games.
  • Sabreman64 #14 2 years ago

I wish Twisted Pixel would produce some new Splosion Man levels as an add-on. The level unlocked in Comic Jumper was fun but it just left me wanting more. An add-on containing at least a dozen new levels would be great.
  • Marvolo762 #15 2 years ago

@xardan I bought Trials HD and it isn't that difficult, they kind of ease you into it.
I've gotten to the medium tracks with all golds without much trouble, and it's totally worth the price.
  • MagnificentDuke #16 2 years ago

@Marvolo: I was thinking the same thing about Trials HD until about half way through the medium tracks. Oh boy does it get tricky then. Difficulty aside, for 400 points, it's probably one of the most enjoyable XBLA games I have purchased. As I am writing this I have it paused and it's 2am so err yeah lol
  • Tinrib72 #17 2 years ago

Couldnt pass up on 'Splosion Man at 160pts! And for those who dont yet own Trials...why not?
  • Marvolo762 #18 2 years ago

@MagnificentDuke Indeed, it gets a lot trickier after that. But also a lot more fun.
Bought Splosion man too, also totally worth it. For 160 points it was a steal.
  • BlitzwingHaz #19 2 years ago

I got Trails HD, Spolsion Man and Turtles in Time.
Got a bit bored with Splosion man last night, but Trials is great fun.

It would be interesting to find out how many copies Splosion man sells at 160 points. If it gets enough interest at this nice low price point it may encourage other developers/ms to release more games at this price (particularly older stuff that may not be getting as much interest anymore)

I got Trials, Splosion Man and Greed Corp - plus the Trials Big Pack which is 240MP at the moment. There are quite a few more deals on the Game Channel. SSHD and a few others are at 400MP.
