EA apparently has Dante's Inferno and Dead Space maker Visceral lined up to tackle the Command & Conquer licence.
EA has abandoned work on Command & Conquer shooter Tiberium.
EA has pushed back the release of Battlefield Heroes and Command & Conquer FPS Tiberium.
Electronic Arts has officially unveiled Command & Conquer first-person shooter Tiberium, due out on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in autumn 2008.
Developed by EA Los Angeles, Tiberium is a tactical FPS in which players control Forward Battle Commander Ricardo Vega, who must control infantry, armour and air squads to combat "a global crisis".
That crisis seems to be linked to an alien tower, standing over a wasteland where the Mediterranean used to be, which had been thought to be a relic of the Third Tiberium War but actually turns out to be some sort of staging post for an alien invasion. Ooh.
