If it is a multiplayer experience then why don't they make the single player a true tutorial on how to play online. Focus the whole SP campaign around different maps of the online and structure as many different types of battle as possible to fully work a noob up to play in the real world. Reply+2
I've had the micro console for just under a week and I have 20mb virgin connection and in all the time I have been playing I haven't had a single slowdown or drop out. So I think if you are skimping on your broadband then you get what you deserve, buy quality bandwidth and this is a great service. Reply-9
I think we should pay for games by the level... so you only pay for the amount of game you play. I have numerous games with a third at the end unplayed. Reply+5
let's be honest, they aren't compensating us, they are giving us old games. If they were actually compensating us they would give us vouchers to choose new games, but that would cost them money where as this is a virtually free way to pretend they are giving something back. Reply+4
Yes as coolbritannia said, they have acted in an incredibly arrogant fashion, they assumed they would walk all over Microsoft with the 360 and shipped a console that was too ambitious with poor online play. They then make a selling point of being able to use the PS3 as a pc with Linux and then removed that functionality. The prosecution of Geohot led directly to their servers being targeted and the holes in their server's security were well known.
Of course it's bad for the users, I am one of them. But the only way to actually make a company stand up and listen to it hit their pocket, that way the shareholders will seriously ask questions and things will get changed. Reply-34
Good, serve them right for their arrogance through this entire console generation. They are third place, brand in tatters and now their pocket has been hit. Reply-119
for what it's worth, I can recommend building your own PC, I built my own two years ago, bought around £400's worth of parts and it still scores 8/10 on the Windows 7 score thingymabob. It's been a very worthy purchase. Reply+2
