  I would really love for this to do well. Simply because it's such an interesting and ambitious concept.
  
  but how do you prise the console FPS players away from COD, Battlefield etc in the numbers required for this to work well. Seen as a standalone multiplayer FPS this will have to be bloody amazing for them to be convinced - bear in mind that these players don't give two shits about the EVE universe or may not even be aware it exists.

  Pricing structure sounds sensible. Looks like they've really considered the impact of smartphone gaming to the overall handheld business.

  I've no problem with this as long as the advertising is unobtrusive and contextually relevant.
  
  Could this be the first 100% ad-funded MMO? If they can achieve a similar size of audience as WOW then the advertisers will be falling over themselves to be seen there. Reply 0

  My account was hacked late last year - some git then used my credit card to purchase about £80 worth of Zune points.
  
  To be fair the MS team were very helpful - my account was locked for about 3 weeks but I received a full refund for the funds taken.
  
  I'm still puzzled as to how my details got leaked. Despite what MS says I am 100% certain I was not phished. How can I be phished when I can't even remember my own password most of the time. Especially my Live password which I last entered into my console over 2 years ago!

  I have spent too much money on this game having bought both the PS3 and DS versions. I think they're both great fun and the cost of each extra Skylander ain't so bad when you consider they can be used across both platforms. They are also really nice looking toys which look great when on display. They are also varied enough (both on screen and in toy form) to make it feel like each new character actually adds something new to the game.
  
  I now have (off the top of my head):
  
  Spyro, Dark Spyro, Voodood, Hex, Stealth Elf, Ignitor, Gill Grunt, Zap, Trigger Happy, Boomer, Stump Smash, Chop chop, Prism Break and Sonic Boom.
  
  
  As far as 'playing with the kid's' type games are concerned this is up there with the Lego series. Reply +2

  So to help them in these hard times pay them peanuts for their used games and re-sell them for a couple of quid less than a new version.
  
  I was seriously pissed off once when I bought a 2nd hand copy of De Blob 2 from game for £12. Popped into Asda the next day to find it available brand new for £9!
  
  Game haven't really adapted very well to the difficult market conditions have they? I understand the difficulty in competing with supermarkets and online retailers when it comes to new releases but 2nd hand is where the big margins are since they don't have to pay anything to the publishers. But they still can't seem to get this right. Reply +4
