This is about as good an idea as a film based on Jet Set Willy. Hopefully they will retain the massive levels of homoerotica that appeals to its intended audience.

391 is a reasonable sample size. They are clearly using some measure derived from 'Big 5 personality theory (like the NEO) which generally have extensive normative data available. There is no indication what other measures were used but if they were standardised it is easy to infer atypical relationships. Or some such shit.

    Darren...

    >>I'd agree completely with what you said which is why I'd expect the PS3 to have a larger audience, a great diversity of software and a mixed casual/hardcore fanbase like the PS2 did...

Yes, you would have thought that wouldn't you. You'd be totally fucking wrong though.

    >>The Xbox 360 is massive in the US but then those Yanks love shooting and blowing things up... online!

Yes, online gaming is shit isn't it. Hell, the internet is a waste of time. And those wacky Americans! When will they learn. They should be put in camps I am sure you agree.

    >>Sony are less concerned with that and the fact that their own online service doesn't require you to pay a £40 per annum subscription means it's more ideally suited to casual gamers anyway...

Yes their mass market appeal is paying off in spades. By only charging a meagre sum for the console, people will think the online play is a bargain! Of course, when they actually use it...

    >>it's easy to see why the PS3 will likely appeal to a wider variety of people than the Xbox 360. What are Microsoft doing exactly? Nothing as far as I can see... :?

Open your fucking eyes! They are making games for one thing. This is a tried and tested strategy in the 'gaming' business.

Can we start the attack on the Wii now? It's sure to bring PS3 & 360 nutters together.

The Wii is rubbish. You can't badly browse the web in 1080p, it will never have Home and you can't buy demos of Gran Turismo for £15. Totally last-gen.
