So smoooooth (Chrome Browser), I hope it looks like that in game this time.

You can feel it when you drive in-game (GT5), tracks are usually super smooth (not all of them) compared to regular roads, it's only the curbs that are more rough. Reply0
I don't think it will take off when your average person can't even be bothered to put on a pair of 3D glasses. I also wonder if this is just too close to reality in one way, but in the end only offers 1% of what we expect reality to be. Are these problems solvable? I don't think so, until we get the holodeck, now that is Virtual Reality. Reply0
Or maybe, Tomb Raider was just too violent and too little exploration. Thats why I didn't buy it. I've seen a growing trend where games are just becoming more and more violent, and I think people had enough, and are voting with their wallets.
Also, lets not forget the nickel and diming with online passes, season passes, unbalanced pre-order bonuses from different retailers etc. I think there is more to this story than "teh grafics" is not good enough. Reply+25
It depends on how its handled, In TF2 it's only cosmetic items that cost, then it doesn't matter how much, one can just ignore it.
EA on the other hand charges for things that break game play, like the Real Racing 3 implementation, you can't even play the game for an hour straight without paying real money. Reply+44
@Deadite It has been in beta forever(at least a year I think), and they have been charging money for characters and in game items as well.
But the biggest problem was greed, p2w items and lack of balance. And the fact that they didn't listen to the players on top of that is the reason for the shutdown.
EDIT: It was actually kinda fun, but the execution was terrible. Reply+5
"I managed to complete the game without spending any extra and never felt like I'd been held back, but by the same token there were plenty of moments where I fell just short of what was needed."
LOL! Really? Are you guys trying to cater to the ultra casuals who has never pressed a button on a controller in their lives? Or did you just forget to actually BALANCE your game properly. Reply+2
Sounds awesome, I will finally be able to buy it then, and don't have to worry about loot that is either useless or have to be purchased on the AH. Reply+3
