Well, maybe not. It feels more like Ebola (may be overreacting a tinsy little bit here), I've seen a full spectrum of vomit starting at around 4:00 last night 'til about 9:00 this morning with occasional semi consious delusions about CoD4 (I really shouldn't have played it so much this week).

And I probably shouldn't mention that all the fluid in my body seems to be trying to escape as rapidly as possible, to the point where a tiny sip of tap water now tastes delicous. However if I drink too much I vomit it all back up again and become even more dehydrated....

    /Mope.

Bird flu my arse. You have the virus that has been around for a few weeks now. Full spectrum of symptoms that lasted 3 weeks for me. (I dont take pharmaceuticals, drink loads of water and eat fruit every day. One night on the single malt also helped.) 0thers that got the bug have had it for 4/5 weeks.

Its really horrible but it aint some hysterical disease!

    /laughs

I feel roughly the same, the major pain in the arse though is that I've got the Scotland / Italy game to go to on Saturday. The biggest game that I've been to and I feel like shit.

Sugar your water a little (or try non-acidic fruit juices) - more settling on your stomach (as long as you stick to small quantities)

Sorry, Stew mate, but I am a Dr, and can guarantee that the extra stress on your heart will DEFINITELY KILL YOU if you go to the game on Saturday.

I understand you will still be tempted to risk it - for that reason, I can guarantee to keep it safe for you, so you don't use it. Post it to me for Friday, and I'll post it back after the game has finished. Honest.

Sounds a bit like gastroenteritis. If it is gastroenteritis you will be sick about once an hour for a couple of days regardless of if you have anything to actually sick up.
