Actually I am pretty fucking annoyed about that. I tried to be polite about it but I'm failing.

Quite why anyone, in this type of thread of all threads, for a film that's still only recently come out, would feel it's appropriate to go into that sort of detail without even having the common sense to spoiler it is beyond me.

    WARNING for new page.

If you haven't seen Django yet, and intend to see it, please don't read the last page (2145) as a major plot element appears to have been spoiled.

You are only saying that because he's a ghost!

(Impressive, did you by accident use the word pale or are you just brilliant?)

Good work on the warnings peeps - haven't seen Django and would rather keep plot developments as fresh as possible.

Staying well clear of 2145, even with binky's intervention.

    Why look, it's a blog:

I thought Pepsi paled in comparison to her living room wall.

I do think pepsipop is a smart gal. Don't know about the 159 IQ bit, doesn't say that much about a person if you ask me. Even I scored above 80.

    Resident Evil Retribution

I should have stopped watching these about three films ago but turned into a guilty pleasure. Almost seems fan made. The characters and casting are hilarious. These can't possibly make a lot of money now. I won't watch the sequel. Point for Mila.

    Sister My Sister

Adored it! Unpredictable, very unsettling and slowly shifts to something horror-ish near the end.

    Hotel Transylvania

This is a massive hit in our house and rightfully so. Great gags, brilliant characters and excellent voice talent (yes even Adam Sandler). The kids must have watched it 5 times in a week and we're not tiring of it yet.

    Bleugh, Bleugh, Bleugh/10 (9)

    Wreck-It Ralph

It's a solid kids film that borrows heavily from Shrek and Toy Story. The first half is by far the strongest, but oddly the focus of the second half swings from Ralph to the annoying Vanelope. I guess this is to appeal to the female audience and allow Disney to stock toys for both genders in their stores.

Worth the ticket price for the "Paperman" short at the beginning though. It's genius.

    7/10 for Ralph

    10/10 for Paperman

Alfie (the 1966 Michael Caine original)

Despite being a Caine fan, I'd never seen this movie before...erm, hasn't aged well.

Perhaps it has if you saw it when you were younger, but as someone new to the film, it just felt really aged. The talking to the camera, while popular at the time, just really jars now, and I felt really uncomfortable watching it. I think you're meant to both love and hate Alfie as a loveable rogue, at least I think you are, but I spent my whole time detesting the character.

Obviously it reflects more the beliefs and values of some men at the time (well, and now, for that matter) but I just couldn't identify with it, like the character, or for that matter care much for anyone involved really.

    4/10
