    Fucking hell, I held off from buying Bioshock Infinite for a long time, yet succumbed last week and bought it for the full price.

    Ooooh, Joe Danger 2.

    I loved the first game - is there enough of a difference to warrant a purchase of the sequel?

    @FuzzyDuck

    I am still not quite sure why, but I LOVED the first one whereas I did not think much of the sequel.

    A bit disappointing, even though the second one adds a few new gameplay mechanics.

    ... Joe Danger 2 is quite a fair bit trickier in places, mind!

    @CharlieStCloud

    Hmm, I just watched a review of it and it comes to the same conclusion as yourself.

    By the look of things, it could be that the new mechanics aren't as fun or focused as just having the bike in the first game.

    I've a decent backlog still and GTA is getting closer (and Killer Is Dead may be another purchase), so I'm probably best to skip it! :D

    @oldschoolsoviet I know! I've been wanting to get it for ages (as evidenced by thread!), but I don't get much PS3 time at the moment. This year I've managed to play Tomb Raider and start Tales of Xillia. :p

    But I do really want to play it!

    Ditto, my nor the other half could get into the sequel and eventually deleted it.

    Same for me. It's not really bad at all, but very incoherent - like they're really afraid that the players will get bored and thus end up changing shit up all the time.

    Weird combination. I know they're both technically post-apocalyptic (in a sense), but I'm sure most people would just prefer TLoU for £30 or whatever with an additional Plus discount.

    Speaking of which, has anyone bought or played ibb & obb? I liked the demo but was wondering whether they change up the gameplay later, how long it is; that kind of thing. Strange controls but they actually made a lot of sense once I got used to them.

    I'm one of those. Actually, I'm interested in both TJ and TLoU, but I just can't justify spending £36 on a game in the 'sale' - no matter how good it is.

    Tokyo Jungle has been in sales at least a couple of times since release; under £5 with the Plus discount. I would definitely recommend it for that price; it's brilliantly strange and silly and wonderfully Japanese. The sort of strange esoteric games that make me really appreciate Sony as a publisher.

    I noticed that Bit Trip Runner 2 for the PS3 is finally on the EU PS Store for £7.99. Although it's listed under the Summer Sale rather than the New Releases section for some reason. There's a trial available for it too.

    Yes, I noticed that too. Finally! It came out in March in the US, but I don't know what the EU delay was. It can't be localisation, it's not exactly a text heavy game!

    I think I'm going to wait for the Vita version though, which is apparently coming soon. I think this kind of thing is more suited to a handheld (I have the first game on the 3DS). Also the US got the PS3 version added to PS+ recently, so perhaps we'll also get it sometime.

    @chub Yeah I was tempted when I saw it. Downloaded the trial and enjoyed it too. However Spelunky is out this week (I think) and Stealth Inc is also being made available on Plus, so I'd rather get those two games TBH.

    Because Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is so short I think that I will wait for the inevitable sale... It's not like it's going anywhere! I'll be busy with Spelunky, in any case :D ( I hope )
