The main conflict of the first game does get resolved, but there are plot developments right at the end that lead into the second game.

XSeed still haven't closed the door on the remaining two games, but at this point I'm losing hope that we'll ever see them in English.

Cheers chaps. Have been interested in this but 24 quid for an old PSP game put me off. Might as well jump in now!

Has anyone noticed that as well as the 'Spring Sale' on PSN at the moment there will be a series of Easter sales - individual games on sale for 48 hours?

Killzone + Infamous: Festival of Blood double pack is currently 9.89 for 27th/28th March - worth getting?

@millerlfc Probably not to be honest. I liked the original Killzone on the PS2, but I highly doubt that it will have aged well. And Festival of Blood is OK, but very very short - you can complete the story in about an hour or so.

Edit: The Killzone/inFamous FOB offer is being replaced with a new one at 12pm today as well - hoping it'll be something of more interest to me :p.

    Graaah... Must. Resist.

Fair play on Squeenix though; they're one of just a few publishers who recognise that digital pricing can and should fluctuate to reflect the market.

That said, the cynic in me says that they're desperate for more sales because of their current financial situation :p

I got The Walking Dead after playing the free EP and loving it. It's 8.99 for Playstation plus but then I notice they are 2.00 each. So obviously since I got the first one free I got the individual instead of the bundle pack. I saved myself a pound :-D Every penny counts. Don't judge me :-P

Always picked up Trine 2 for under a fiver. These sales are killing me lol Nah, it's all gravy. All gravy.

I bloody love the original Trine. I wanted to like the sequel, but it left me so cold and some of the puzzles and platforming sections were maddening.

Does Tomb Raider have much replay value? Tempted to take a punt, but it's 13GB. And just noticed that the new Sly game is 21GB _

Yes and no. As the story progresses, you reach new areas and can fast travel from bonfire save points to previous areas. This is pretty essential for some collectibles as you also unlock new abilities throughout the game - its a bit Metroid in that respect. Each area has collectibles to find or little challenges to complete.
Having said that, its not the sort of game I would relish starting again and I personally wasn't interested in the multiplayer. Don't get me wrong, its an excellent game but maybe one to buy on disc for 20ish and trade a couple of weeks later for 15.
If you're a trophy addict its a nightmare with all the MP achievements and some of the SP ones are a real slog too.

So it is. Fuck, I just paid 30% more than that and haven't even properly started it yet. I would have so preferred the digital version.

Bought all of the Walking Dead episodes last night after completing the second one. Didn't think much of the first one, but really enjoyed 'Starved For Help'.

Was tempted to get Tomb Raider, but I think it's likely to end up on sale again later this year, and hopefully a bit cheaper as well. Sleeping Dogs and Hitman Absolution were both in the recent 'The Nation's Favourite Games' sale for about 14-15 each.

    15.99 Valid until 11.59am 2nd April

Not a bad price for a very good game.

Does that include the Vita Cross-Play version?

I'm interested if that's the case.

@danathjo it's okay as a single player game, but it's more of a multiplayer game to really get the best from it.

@ElNino9 people on the Blog are saying it's cross-buy. which is a great deal. I got my copy for christmas for 17 and it's great on both PS3 and Vita

Not in the UK yet, but Taiwanese fighter Chaos Code has been released on PSN in Japan. I gather it's been available in Taiwan and Hong Kong for a while. At first blush it seems like a competent enough King of Fighters clone, with a crazy chef character that plays like Clark! Been a long while since I played a 2D fighter without a trial mode, though...

Hope the sale item is better tomorrow than bloody Duke Nukem. That being said, it's really not like I need anything more to play at the moment.

Any bundle that includes Duke Nukem instantly drops the value and want level. I would have taken Spec ops for 20 quid but I'm not having Duke Nukem. I'd rather just have Spec ops.
There's absolutely no logic in that. Just buy the bundle and only download Spec Ops. There you go, it's yours for 20...
