    Finally picked up series 3, wonderful stuff, especially after how messy series 2 felt sometimes. More is no bad thing! \o/

    Yeah 2 was deffo the best.

    The 'messiness' is part of the design. Seemingly random lines and scenes eventually reappear at a later date and things begin to slot together.

    The British storyline was a bit rubbish but series 3 was still really funny.

    Yeah, madness. I rewatch this series all the time but I never bother with the third season. The British episodes are really hit and miss (but they have their moments), but even the stuff after that, when it picks up, is still not a patch on the previous two seasons imo. Not a fan of the Tobias hair plugs storyline at all.

    I usually skip the British storyline when re-watching, but it really does pick up after that. I think those episodes are as good as Season 2. The hair plugs storyline is hilarious, I love the episode where they hold the fund-raiser in prison.

    Yeah, for me there is really just 2 seasons of AD. Any good stuff in S3 is undone by some very ropey stuff.

    You're all fucking nuts. Even at its worst, AD is still funnier than nearly anything else I can think of on TV.

    Not really. At its worst it's poor like everything else.

    S3 is weird on a rewatch. Feels like they were trying too hard at times.

    Season 3 to me more felt like they were cramming everything in, knowing it'd been cancelled. But also because of that, they had an absolute blast. The last few episodes were as good as anything they did imo.

    Didn't Hurwitz say he wouldn't have gone over three seasons anyway because he'd run out of ideas and nobody thought the show could go any further?

    But yeah, some of the best jokes in season 3 were the ones referencing the cancellation. They worked that angle really well.

    Don't get me wrong, I still think series 2 is great, but not as good as series 1. Series 3 will be finished this week.
