The saddest thing about all this is our FA commits more financially to developing the game around the world than any other FA in the world. It's scary to learn just how hated we really are. The World Cup bidding process was an eye opener but today's vitriol against us truly shows the world's stupid bias against us.

hopefully it'll lead to an awesome new "fuck you!" attitude :D

Suspect EU labour laws would have something to say about that.

The FA does ignore the odd FIFA "rule"... contesting cards post-match for example. Hope they decide to bring in goal-line technology, calling it V-tech.

Blatter and FIFA as a whole are a complete joke now, even more so than before. What a bunch of delusional, self-serving fuckers. How he could deny any crisis in FIFA was beyond me when he claimed that, but I guess if nearly everyone else is happy with the status quo then there are indeed no issues there! Oh no. Not at all.

I really can't believe that the Welsh and Irish FA's didn't vote against these jokers either.

The FA can't even get their own house in order and have dragged their feet on reform, including independent Board members, for years. The Burns Report has just been ignored. So whilst on a smaller scale, some of their comments are a little rich. Those in glass houses and all that. When you've got established public servants like Ian Watmore quitting because of the resistance, you know it's an uphill struggle.

But yeah, if we quit, we'd be out on our own and I suspect that would include player regs too. No way the PL would stand for that.

I'd imagine this will be some big HBO drama in a few years.

I'd watch it, aslong as it ends with Blatter being killed at the end.

Sepp Blatter's crushing of his critics makes a mockery of democracy.

He has never had to operate in a democratic institution, hence he has no ability to carry himself in a more respectable manner. His rants are exactly the same as the numerous dictators we've seen around the world.

@changeFIFA Apparently Vietnam voted with England by mistake!

There were three buttons you could push and the announcer was very specific about which was which, doh!

The best way to get back at them would be to win the next World Cup. or at least Euro 2012.

I can take that smile away, Euro 2012 is a Uefa event, not Fifa. :p

    Come and get it cumslingers!

Maybe this is the sort of motivation the England team need right now. Especially since it feels like the rest of the world vs us at the moment.

All the players refusing to shake Sepp Blatter's hand as he hands over the trophy would be priceless!

And he gets to keep his pension as well according to @ChangeFIFA, I wonder if FIFA are hiring, I can put my morals to the side for huge amounts of cash.

Of course they can. Blatter kills two birds with one stone - he gets rid of two troublesome and increasingly disloyal FIFA members AND gets to claim this as evidence of him 'cleaning up' FIFA. What a cunt. No wonder he's always smiling.

I like how the guy who resigned the other day had the entire investigation dropped against him and his innocence maintained. Fuck I hate that cunting organsation.

I wonder if the FA are mulling over a fresh arse-licking campaign in a bid to host 2026? If they are, I suggest that they just give up already. Perhaps they'd have better luck submitting a joint bid with North Korea.

Bin Hammam has been found guilty of corruption and banned for life from all football by FIFA.

Will the rest of FIFA (mainly Blatter) get the same treatment, I wonder?

I guess anything to save himself. I wonder how he manages to stay clean. The way that place works, it would be wise to have dirt on everyone.

Shouldn't the police be getting in on this.

They're not accountable to anyone, they're not a government, they could have the bribes thing out in the open if they wanted to.
