    Updates:
    1) Vita crash fix is in submission. Hopefully live by the end of the week.
    2) Switch is in Submission... details forthcoming!

    @dadrester Enjoy!!

    I'm still pecking away at this (up to the final system),but the crashes and promise of a patch have meant that I've not played it for a week or so.

    I'm looking forward to finishing it off :)

    Howdy... Back off my hols and found out our publisher for the PS versions had made a mistake subbing the EU Vita patch (which was ready about a month ago and went live in the US on the 11th). That's up now so the crashes are gone.

    And in other news... WE HAVE A RELEASE DATE FOR SWITCH:

    I notice a physical edition (Hostile Takeover Edition) has appeared for preorder in a few places. Surprised it hasn't been mentioned in the thread yet. I am assuming by the naming convention and that they published the digital version thay it will be by Badlands.

    @Flying_Pig we also have my dear friend @weebleboy in the office for a week slaving away at some FPS improvements that'll hopefully make it into a future patch.

    @One_Vurfed_Gwrx Yeah, just for PS4 I think (but maybe Xbox One). The idea is it'll come with artbook etc, but I'm not sure how they're getting on with it.

    How does the weapon slot thing work? I've upgraded slot 1 and want to buy something else in slot 2 but it's not very clear how it works as it looks like everything is a machine gun? Switch version.

    Can I just say? This is genius imo. Just love it to bits. Was unreasonably happy to discover I could mix one of the tracks while waited for my moolah to pile up.

    Yeah, it's really good. Ship controls and weapons are a liiiiittle sluggis
    gh as far as twinstick shooters go, but I guess that's intentional?

    My only minor gripe right now would be the vibration, it's far too strong, so I turned it off.


    But yeah, very cool game, dadrester, glad I bought it!

    Essentially there are 3 weapon types: machine gun, laser and rockets. However, you can combine them in different combinations across the slots to create quote a few different weapons - i.e. there's something like a shot gun, another is like lightning and another shoots unicorns!

    You need to buy each weapon type for each slot, these can then be upgraded

    Your Switch will power down after one hour idle and you'll be disappointed in the morning. Unless you turn that feature off in the is settings...

    Will the Vita version still get updated? I'm still having some issues preventing progress, mostly the controls still occasionally locking up and the screen freezing up, with me already dead when it catches up.

    @DFawkes the FPS patch is in FQA with Sony. Was hoping it was going to go live today. Probably next week. I'm poking my publisher daily after them only updating the crash fixes to Vita US and not JP/EU. It should give fairly significant FPS gains.

    Cheers for the info dadrester :) That recent patch helped a little, one more tweak should be enough.

    It is fiercely addictive. It's the sort of game that eats hours without a second thought.

    I messaged a couple of my mates this morning advising them to get it as they noticed I was on it all night last night. I said yep it could get samey but for now I'm having a ball. Just brilliant the way it's set up. It doesnt feel like a grind at all and I love the space fights.

    How does the clicker side of it work? I've never played any of those, they always sound like an utter waste of time (no offence to Vostok, I'm asking because I'm interested in it :)).

    Yeah first half an hour I wasn't 100% on what the crack was but then it just came together and it becomes an addiction. All the elements come together great.
