    I'm gonna bump this thread because I'm selfish and we need votes.

    In other news, Xbox version passed first submission with no issues (which is pretty rare apparently). We're going into final sub with PS4 and XB1 today (though there will be a day 1 patch for some tweaks that we want time to test) and the Vita version is very close behind... also... JAPANESE!

    Is there a way to get your game up without Greenlight, if need be? I've no idea how Steam works as a developer so I've no idea how Greenlight differs.

    I'd probably go Vita anyway, as I prefer portable games.

    I'm a dev and I have no idea how Greenlight works. I asked someone I know at valve and they gave me a very wishy-washy answer. I think the most important part is visitors and the number of yes votes, rather than the ratio.

    I'll be going for the Vita version too - day-1. No doubt, as I really enjoyed The Hungry Horde and this looks great

    @Flying_Pig Currently doing lots of optimisations on Vita and it's coming on well. We're still hoping for simultaneous launch, but it might be a teeny bit later than PS4/XB1 depending on submission timings.

    The cross save stuff on PlayStation is spiffy. Basically play on one, hit cloud save, carry on on the other. I used it loads on Rogue Legacy and thought it was cool.

    @Skirlasvoud Yep, got approval a couple of days ago. Just putting the rest of the translations in. We're doing English, German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (s) and Chinese (T). Bit of a pain but potentially big markets if it goes down well.

    Also hooking up trading cards and achievements now we have a steam app ID. Then I need to get the fuck on and do some more trailers etc. As much as I enjoy doing them, they're soooo time consuming, plus the guy that played Jimmy (a mate of a mate) can't come in to do any more until July, so I'll need to be a bit creative...

There's a dedicated PR team at BadLand, a JP publisher doing the same in Japan and H2 games in Korea (they have the biggest platform in the country) publishing in the rest of Asia, plus little old me trying to do a bit of guerrilla marketing here and there between looking for cash down the sofa. Oh and a PR agency in the US apparently. No idea how good they are, fingers crossed.

    So our publisher wants us to do a bunch of rewards for people who sign up for a newsletter or something (mp3s, desktop pictures etc) and I suggested we take one of the minigames and push it out as a standalone mobile game.

    A PLAYABLE TEASER if you will! I'm seriously tempted to get this onto the google play store with ads and an option to remove ads, and a bunch of marketing stuff for the main game...

    Woodguy Jr. minigame up on Google Play now. I'm calling it "Adutainment"... like and advert, but entertaining!

    Leaderboards seem to be broken right now so we're looking into it.

    @DFawkes Vita was meant to be Weds, but it's gonna be later as there was a rather trivial problem with the manual that we failed on, and we've missed a submission slot. It'll be less than a fortnight though :(

    Holy shit... A silver badge. I'm kind of shaking still. So happy!

    @spamdangled No trial on Xbox unfortunately. I quite wanted to do a demo that would unlock with purchase but we're currently a full time team of 2, and trying to do 4 version in 7 languages with sim launch across the globe (or almost sim launch, sorry Vita folks), alongside a demo, would probably have been the straw that broke the camels back.

    @UncleLou Don't worry, I'm that guy too. We're not currently working on it, though I've been trying to get my mitts on a devkit/license for a while. We had it up and running on Wii U, but numbers wise it wasn't worth it. I really really want to do a Switch version, and I have some cool ideas for stuff we could do on it, but as of right now there's no plans for it (other than in my head).

    Still awesome, can't wait for this. Had some many vita ports canned recently, that to get this is a real pleasant surprise. It is cross buy? Get it tonight if it is.
