    @shamblemonkee Ah, that was you - nice :D It was a tough race, my poor qualifying lap put me somewhere near the back with the animals who thought my car was a punching bag :)

    I'll add you on PSN

    @Beccosinho Yeah that was a pretty brutal affair, that one. Bore fruit at the end, got on to the finishing straight and made up 5 spots due to people parked up serving penalties :D

    I had a disastrous run of races last night, and I was trying to put a run together to get up a dr level again! Itís the fuel limited races I struggle at at the moment - in the races I was 2nd and ended up 13th, 5th in a very strong field and ended up 10th and 9th and ended up 18th. 2 of them was pitting unluckily and ending up behind one of those 4 or 5 car melees that costs you 3 or 4 seconds a lap trying to avoid being smashed.

    I think I might need to buy a wheel for this to be consistently fast enough

    If you're even considering buying a wheel just do it. I've got the T300 and it's honestly the best gaming related thing I've ever bought. So much fun driving with one.

    @superdelphinus a Fanatec apparently works well with one of these https://shop.cronusmax.com/drivehub.html . Looks like itís on back order though. Thereís a previous version on Amazon for about £50 but itís not an integrated hub like this one.

    Iíve been debating getting one for a while but Iíve decided to stick with the motion controls in GTS which are excellent and make It a bit more pick up and play than having to get wheel out.

    Just won the daily c race in a WRX no pitting with fuel management 😀 Great racing and loving the strategy.

    Not too bad on last lap. Only works if you don't get punted off by idiots as it needs to be pretty clean. Started on 5 then dropped to 4 then 3 until last lap then 2 on the fuel management. You have to let quite a few past on straights and stay out of trouble but you can keep up through the middle half of the track. On setting 5 I was putting in 1:36-1:37. Fastest lap was just under 1:33.

    Edit: Race fastest lap, not mine!

    2nd place messaged me and said he didn't think I'd make it. Nice to have some good racers out there 👍

    @Kill_Crazy Yeah, I tried some sort of strategy that was similar to yours - didn't quite work out for me, only gain three positions :D

    I just think Interlagos isn't my cup of tea, never been a fan of the track - too many slow sections. ;)

    One of my favourites. Love it when they have real world F1 tracks as I know them well 😀

    How's this for a #nononononoyes?

    Started 15th on lap one, 6th by the end of it after this butt-puckering move

    @shamblemonkee very nice move :), the game does look superb when a pack is racing close like that.

    Last couple of days Iíve just chilled out with the sambabus, strangely addictive :-P

    Is there any fun to be had for a novice driver? All sounds very dedicated. Looks great, love reading users enthusiasm for certain games as it makes me feel like I need to purchase to see for myself what the fuss is all about. I enjoy racers but I'm not a great driver!

    @CompetitiveDad
    If you can drive consistently you should be ok. It's no good putting in fastest lap then spinning on the next lap.

    Yes, the game does a pretty decent job of teaching you how to drive fast if you watch all the videos and read the track tips. (I didn't because I'm impatient).

    I'd say yes definitely. I didn't think I could stomach all of the tutorial and racing etiquette stuff, but honestly its made me better than I would have been without it and therefore worth putting it a bit of time for that stuff

    Just a quick thought: does anyone think that these daily races that have 10 laps or more and include tyre deg and fuel consumption should also have light damage too? Would soon make drivers think twice about contact... or is that going too far too soon?

    I love this Kudos Prime website.

    Here's mine: http://www.kudosprime.com/gts/stats.php?profile=1441778

    I'm at my peak DR points, but because my SR is so low I can't move up DR ranks. I deserve a lower SR at the moment, I've driven horrendously the last few days. I just don't give enough room to people who brake much earlier than I expect.

    But then I get smashed off the track all the time. If I can just get my SR up, then I can move up a DR and hopefully the driving will be a bit better.

    I'm surprised and disappointed the wheel settings are so limited, certainly compared to F1 games. The throttle on my T150 is very sensitive, 80% of the pedal does nothing and all the power is in the final 20% of travel, I'd much rather even that out a bit to make the throttle less sensitive, but I can't.

    @IJ Nice, Kudos Prime is great! I'd say concentrate on DR first then SR later. As @ScoobySi suggested, it is much easier to get the SR up than I first thought. But it is a fine balancing act. The higher your SR the better quality of drivers making it much harder to move up positions to gain DR

    Here's mine http://www.kudosprime.com/gts/stats.php?profile=2701484 and you can see from the charts that its much harder to maintain a decent DR than SR.

    @Beccosinho
    I'd like to see that. Maybe little to no damage to rear ends but fronts take more. Might stop the car brakers.

    @IJ
    Try breaking off line a bit so you can gauge how they take corners. If they're fast in, slow out then take a wide line if possible. If they're slow in then try and line them up and outbreak them.
