@JamboWayOh my guess is the soundtrack is the only problem if any?

    @Baihu1983

I'm getting the feeling they'll release both crackdowns when the release crackdown 3. Maybe have free download copies included in the box.

Well, considering Origins wasn't included in the Arkham remaster, that's at least something.

I'd love to give Mark of the Ninja another go, I never did complete it.

Now just need MS to sort out buying 360 games off the Xbox one marketplace

No, they just need to sort out Ninja Gaiden 2.

Tecmo has been sorely absent from the whole program. No DOA4, Ninja Gaiden, not even the bad games like Yaiba. It's like they don't care.

Good price. I already have it on 360 and PC, but I'd definitely take it as a GwG. Or failing that an XBL sale for a few quid.

I must be one of the few people in the world with a copy of Screamride for the Xbox 360 (my very first attempt landed me on around the 10.000th spot in the leaderboards, so that's very likely). Which is why I decided to test it against the X1 demo. Oh boy. But the results are actually pretty interesting.

The game itself runs at 720p (or perhaps less? It certainly looks jaggy) on last-gen, and 1080p on X1. It's 30fps on both, but the 360 sees occasional dips, while the X1 stutters and hitches to no end. Now keep in mind I only have the demo, so I dunno if they have patched the full game or anything. But Zoo Tycoon had the same problem, so I'm going to assume their engine just doesn't work very well on next-gen.

Thing is, the game can actually reach 60fps. You can see it in some very rare occasion on both consoles, yes, even on the 360. And the backward compatible version reaches that target far more often.

It's not quite 60fps, mind. Maybe the developers hard-coded double buffering into the game so that even the emulator couldn't remove it. There are often framerate drops. But in the end, it looks like 60fps often enough, and it's a whole lot smoother than the X1 version. The base 360 version runs pretty well at 30fps overall, but it can sometimes drop. And given the kind of game, in this case I'll take the added smoothness most of the time.

So yeah, we have at least one game that actually runs better in backward compatibility over the Xbox One version. I wonder if there could be more.

It's an odd choice I won't lie, especially as the much better sequel in every way was already compatible.

Rage and Oblivion too. I would at least suggest the former. It's pretty good while it lasts.

Hydro Thunder Hurricane is yet another game that runs a lot better on Xbox One. 360 version seems around 30fps, while X1 looks very close to 60fps.

With all these games running better, I really need Ninja Gaiden 2 now.

I would also like to see Quake 4, I remember the 360 version didn't run very well (and that's putting it mildly).

But the framerate was unlocked, so it may actually be able to reach 60fps on Xbox One... just maybe.

We also need Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom, just because it's a shame that nobody remembers it today.
